“ Great little hostel, clean and perfectly working internet. Literally 2 minutes from the bus station and 5 from the main square of the town. Also the personnel was lovely, the woman even prepared us a lunch box for free because we had to leave earlier than the breakfast starting time. Would totally recommend it. ”

Nice room with matrimonial bed (even had a TV) and breakfast. On the day when our tour departed at 6:00 am, they prepared our breakfast on the previous night, keeping all in really nice plasticabags, so we could take with us. Bathroom is outside the rooms, so it's hard to get there during the night, when it's below freezing, but this is common on all hostels, so not a big problem. On one night, the water was not hot because they had to replace the "gas" for the heater, but the other days it was very hot.

Great location. Lovely staff. Comparatively good breakfast including ham, cheese and yoghurt (only with booking.com). They didn't have a double available so they upgraded us to a sort of apartment with separate kitchen and little sitting area. Good, fast internet. Lovely outdoor communal sitting area in the courtyard. The communal kitchen is tiny.

The owner was really friendly and the hostel was kept amazingly clean (especially given all the dust in San Pedro!). Breakfast was really excellent and the wifi connection was really good. The beds were really comfy, the cable tv was great and the room was cleaned every day. The only thing was that the shared kitchen was reallly small. On our first night there were quite a few people waiting to use it and we were so tired we ended up eating out. But not a problem on our second or third night, so perhaps just unfortunate timing...

It was like a 3-stars hotel, not a hostel (clean and comfortable). All the mornings (3 times) we had early excursions before breakfast time. So we got not typical lunch boxes, but complete breakfasts wich were brought to our room on the tray in the evenings. It was a bit too expensive.

The location was OK. The staff was generally unwilling to do their job. San Pedro is not a cheap town so everybody is trying to profit from that. Intipara definitely was too expensive for what it offered.

Owner was a lovely lady. Could not speak English but did her best to communicate with us. Location. Close to ebverything but away enough to be quiet. Owner flexible and gave us breakfast late one morning and extra early the next. Always cleaning. Shower flooded and was held up with rusty chain. Strange smell from bathroom too! Walls thin so can hear next door snoring! Price - a lot of money for hostel but understand location ups the price some

- Cool prices - cool breakfast - Once again, paying with a credit card generates huge fees which means getting lots of cash, south america seems to be annoying for that issue

i was quite upset when we arrived at the hostal because it was such a tiny room for 2, minimal light, and far from the bathroom which had uneven steps to get to. i am 68. the owner was very kind and gave me a separate room close to the barhroom. also did not make us stay second night as had altitude sickness and had to leave for lower ground.breakfast basic. it is very, very basic, too expensive for what it offers

It had a bed. Booked a room with private shower. Upon arrival, there was no toilet paper. Neither there was tv signal. The lady explained there would be no tv signal if the guy next room turned off his tv. Most of the time I had no tv. The room was simple and could be cleaner. Bathroom was poor and the shower was a disaster - too small, with the curtain literally hanged by wires. Impossible to have a shower without flooding the bathroom. Shower was falling apart and its floor was all rusty. On my last day there was no hot water. Shared bathrooms had better conditions. Upon check- out, the lady tried to use the wrong currency exchange. When I asked for a receipt she mumbled she was not a tour operator. The lady was never nice. Breakfast was poor and the breakfast hour was incompatible with most of the tours. Very expensive for what it is. There has to be better deals in San Pedro!

Dear, in fact, there is not so much to say about what I appreciate, except the fact that this hotel is not too far from the centre of San Padro de Atacama. The lady responsible of this hotel was not at all friendly. The room are equipped with very old furnitures and some of them are not working properly ( I had a cupboard for my clothes but some drawers were so old that I could not open it). There are 3 bathrooms for about 10 rooms. The bathrooms are very very basic: paint and some part of the walls were falling down. On top of it, the lady about forced me to pay in cash knowing that it was mentioned in the reservation that we can pay with credit card. So, conclusion so far, if you can avoid this hotel, do it.

Staff is friendly and helpfull Poor common areas. If you are travelling by yourself, It's not a good choice. Although be close to the main street (Caracoles) at night it's too dark to walk alone.

Not much Absurdly over-priced...receptionist double-talked to avoid letting me pay with a credit card.....breakfast was bad one morning and decent the next....bathrooms are one step above bad....no soap for showers...there must be other places there that are better for the price...
