Quaint old B&B run by a mother and her son. Very clean and comfortable, homemade bread and cakes for breakfast. Lovely views.

It's an old wooden house (heritage site) so expect noise from bathrooms.

Well priced for our overnight stay.

We stayed in the hostel for three nights and enjoyed our stay very much. The room was big enough and with lots of windows. The bathroom was neat and very clean, also had a window (I mentioned this explicitely because in other hotels both number and position of windows was very limited). The staff was very friendly but english speaking limited. Breakfast was very good, only missing descent coffee.

I spent 5 nights there and felt just like at home. The room was very comfortable and warm, hot water night and day. I got sick in Puerto varas, which made me spend more time and the hotel than I would like to. But Renato and his mother, who run the hotel, were very helpfull and nice to time, making everything I needed to feel better. Thanks a lot guys! It is in a good location, not right in the center, but a short walk from it, in a nice residential area. The breakfast was great, with home made marmelade and kuchens! The house itselft is cosy and clean, and you can just fell at home. Great stay!

The service and attention

Nice rooms, a relaxed atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff (who spoke English), attention to detail, pleasant breakfasts.

It was a little out of town, just a 15 minute walk, but far enough to be a little tiresome in rainy weather.

The room wa large,warm and extremely clean. It was quiet and self contained.

Beautiful house in a nice city. It was very quiet and I liked the ´German´ design, though I likened the house more to western Oregon in the first half of the 20th century than Germany or Austria. This is a good thing, however. Puerto Varas is a nice town, full of things to see and a good base for exploring the southern Lake District.

It was a little difficult to reach the staff at times, but this was minor thing.

Desayuno excelente. Buen personal. Precioso edificio. Zona tranquila. Impresionantes vistas del lago y de los volcanes desde alguna de las habitaciones.

Tal vez no está demasiado enfocado a viajeros solitarios, sino a parejas y familias que buscan tranquilidad. Sería adecuado que se habilitara alguna zona de fumadores en el exterior. Tal vez en el aparcamiento. Así como ofrecer facilidades para visitar los impresionantes entornos naturales.

Bom custo beneficio. Simples e suficiente para uma estadia curta em uma casa de estilo alemão antigo.

Fica em rua tranquila, na parte alta da cidade. Ambiente familiar, quarto limpo e silencioso. Geleias do cafe da manhã caseiras.

Café da manhã MUITO fraco. Nescafé, leite, pão, manteiga, geleias. Um pedaço de bolo. Peça sempre mais leite pois dava somente para beber uma xícara. Agua do chuveiro escaldava ou congelava.

Excelente las comodidades de la habitación y sus instalaciones, lo mismo el desayuno que fue muy completo y con productos caseros.

Lo único que tengo para observar, que no es algo negativo en sí, es que al ser un hostal familiar siempre hay que tocar el timbre para encontrar a alguien en recepción para cualquier tipo de consulta, por momentos se siente como que uno está interrumpiendo la vida privada.

Buena atención y ambientación. Estuvimos en dos oportunidades. Muy buena relación precio/calidad

Poderia oferecer frutas durante o café.

é uma casa tipicente alemã, muito aconchegante. A cama é muito confortável, o café é servido pelos proprietários. Eles falam pouco, mas são prestativos. Se tiver oportunidade de voltar me hospedarei novamente nesse hostel.

Não vi pontos negativos

Me gustó la limpieza, la comodidad de las camas, las tortas exquisitas, el trato y la atención amable y personalizada. Lo recomiendo ampliamente!

La maison de style allemand est tout simplement fabuleuse... L'accueil est chaleureux...Le desayuno est complet...et le crumble...à Déguster... Les chambres sont très confortables.

Boa relacao custo-beneficio.

Es un Hostal que forma parte del Paatrimonio Historico de Puerto Varas, y fue lo que nos motivó a elegirlo (categoria inexistente entre las opciones por Uds. Ofrecidas). Renato, bisnieto del constructor del Hostel (casa particular originalmente) y su madre Joaquina nos brindaron muchisima calidez y su servicio, que no es "de manual", fue muy amable y demostraron dedicación y esmero para brindarnos una estadia confortable.
