Hostal Petero Atamu

The hotel is located very close to the Main street and the port and offers a transfer from the airport to the hotel and the other way around as well. The beds are really confortable

Well, the people that works there, unfortunetelly, are not sympatic at all

Simple but good hostel with a good price for Easter Island. About 10-15 minutes walking from the main street

The only complaint is that they forgot to pick us up in the airport on the arrival

Friendly girls manage the hile thing, cool and smiling. Super clean house!!!

The view from the hospedaje is limited. But the site is close to everything eventually.

The place is clean and lovely. Mrs Lori and Mr Ivan are great. I felt really great there.

It says they have wifi in the rooms, and that's not true. Even on the lobby the wifi don't work very well. It is pretty difficult to access the internet there.

It is good place relatively close to everything in Hanga Roa and Lori is a gem.

Little overpriced as everything in Easter Island ( I almost understand...), bad internet connection - well, but internet is not the main thing why someone comes to Easter Island...

The owners were friendly and very helpful, and the value was good.

The wifi never did work for me - I finally gave up and went to a restaurant in town. There are lots of chickens, dogs, and cats around, so there is a kind of a farmy smell.

Excellent location.Walking distance to town,shops,supermarket, & beach.Kitchen amenities great.Room cleaned daily with fresh towels provided.Basic breakfast every morning.Lori the owner went above & beyond to make our stay of six nights which turned into eight a fantastic time..had to stay 2 extra days due to our cancelled flt...and she was very accomadating to us .....and helpful with our airline changes. She spoke good english as well. We highly recommend a nice and budget stay at this hostel. It was also a perk having pickup and drop off at airport. Would definitely stay again. Staff are friendly.

They speak limited English. The double room with shared bathroom is very small. They didn't cleanup the room daily. There is no hooks for hanging the clothes nor even the towel. Recommended only if the room with bathroom is available, they look much better.

Dogs in vicinity barking during the night, lack of general up keep of facility ie: electricals, lack of venilation in room.

I was picked-up by the manager at the airport and transported back on our departure date. Nice and friendly cleaning lady. Good enough breakfasts included in the price. Tea, Coffee, Ham/Cheese + Breads and even sometimes scrambled eggs. The overall atmosphere is nice in the hostal. Hot water in the shower :-)

We found some dead and even alive bugs in our little cottage a couple of times. There are many domestic animals (hens, roster, dogs, chickens, etc) in the surroundings of the hostal which make it very difficult to get some good sleep over night. Management not particularly friendly or helpful. There is no reception in the hostel so it makes it difficult to find someone to contact if there is a problem in the room, for example.

Staff was friendly, the island is wonderful and for the price, this is a very good choice. And the breakfast was very good.

Shower in our room was broken and we did not have a warm water. Room and bed linen was not perfectly clean. You have to accept, that life on the island is a bit slower than we are used to... (e.g. breakfast at 8:30 means in fact anything between 8:45 - 9:00).

There aren’t very many things that went right on our stay so this will be a very negative review, pointing out many details that Hostal Petero Atamu doesn’t do very well. Firstly we arrived in the middle of the night, because our flight was 9 hours late, Our full pickup group of 6 people (3 couples) were greeted with 1 flower necklace and the other 2 couples got maps of Easter Island on the day they checked in, we didn’t. We were pissed about the flight and just wanted to go to sleep. We were assigned a room that so moldy that even a person without asthma could feel it. I was travelling with my wife, she has asthma: I went to tell the staff that the room was not good. The lady was very reluctant to change the room and told me that “Oh it’s the air in Easter Island, it’s very moist” – I kept telling her that my wife couldn’t breathe in the room. Finally she agreed to change after saying “I don’t work at this hour” – I have had better service from a dog. We changed to a room with fewer molds, but the sheets were quite moldy and we can still smell it on our clothes 2 days later in Buenos Aires. The breakfast was okay, other than the fact that our stomachs turned the next day thanks to the half-raw omelette. The family also owned some roosters which made our morning worse, waking us up before sunrise. The facilities were horrible, don’t trust the pictures because it’s NOT what it seems. The shower was either burning hot or freezing cold; no way to get something in between and the bathroom was filthy. On our third (and last day), we could see the dead cockroaches from day 1 laying on the bathroom floor. Also, our room was not cleaned even once during our stay. When we arrived we were given 2 towels, but when we were going to take a shower, we noticed that there was someone else’s blood and hair on the towel. The shower curtain was very moldy aswell.

La cortesia de sus duenos. Muy limpio...piezas con bano . 2 cocinas siempre limpias para utilizar Confiable y segura en todo sentido Fui sola con mi hija de 8 anos, jamas un problema. Lo recomiendo

Dado que es un hostal pequeño le da un aire familiar agradable y tranquilo además de una atención amable. Buen desayuno y buenas facilidades para cocinar Fácil acceso a la ciudad Fué una muy grata estadía

La atención y la cordialidad con la que tratan al visitante, siempre atentos y muy gentiles por prestar ayuda ante cualquier duda o inquietud.

A recepção no aeroporto foi muito importante, pois a gente se sente meio perdido na Ilha, quando chega. O tratamento de todos os funcionários foi muio bom. A Sra. Lory e toda a equipe faz você se sentir em casa. A limpeza do quarto também estava impecável.

A internet wifi não funcionou nenhum dia. O máximo que consegui foi receber alguns e-mails. Não tive nem mesmo como enviar e-mails ou fazer upload de fotos.

Tranfer sem custo adicional. Cozinha para uso dos hóspedes.

Agua do chuveiro por vezes esfriava no meio do banho.

Es un poco caro para lo que ofrece y la conexión a internet no es muy buena.

Excelente relación precio/calidad. La dueña Lori, su marido Ivan y la chica que ordena y limpia eran todos muy simpáticos y ayudadores. Nos recibieron en el aeropuerto, llegamos y nos dieron un rico desayuno (pan, huevo, jamón, café...). Las piezas estaban siempre limpias. Hay 2 cocinas que salvan bastante para evitar los altos precios de los restaurantes. A 3 minutos de las calles principales.

En las mañanas se siente mucho ruido de los mismos turistas que están en el hostal.
