Helpful and friendly front desk staff. Convenient location, close to restaurants and within easy walking of centre of city. Quiet park over the road.

Strange room layout but otherwise comfortable and well priced

In front of the Hotel there is nice park, and to get to the very center of the city you need 10 minutes. The district is safe and hotel is easy to find, when you arrive here for the first time. Reception desk is working 24 hours and English is used for communication. All the persones are nice and helpfull. Breakfast is various and tasty. Wi-fi signal is available in the room.

Hotel is old enough, that means facilities are to be changed. Some areas of the hotel are already on reconstruction at the moment. Shower had small window with broken frame, so it was impossible to close it. As the result we had always fresh times at the beginning of every washing... The similar problem with windows in the room - can`t be closed tightly - fresh air and sounds from the street come inside.

I first stayed at the Montecarlo in about 1991, Since that time, I and friends have stayed at the hotel many times -- sometimes only for a day, at other times for more than a week. I would choose the Montecarlo over other hotels -- especially now that the streets between the hotel and the Alemada have become the home for many very fine restaurants. The only very small criticism I have is that the rooms I have occupied are not the best for internet reception -- which is a small price to pay for all of the things I like about your hotel I recommend it always to any friends I have who travel to Santiago from Canada as the best place to stay in Santiago. Very spacious room. We had requested a twin room, and got a suite, with 2 separate rooms, one with a double bed and the other with a single.

Very low ceeling in the whole apartment, specially on the bathroom. Not an issue for me, but if anyone over 6 ft high would not fit in the shower.

Good hotel, at walking distance to main spots in City centre and quite close to a nice restaurant area (which is always convenient in the evening or at night). Quiet room on the back side, however somewhat dark. Helpful staff, clean facilities, good breakfast. Available computer.

It is a nice quiet peaceful friendly modern hotel. The location is very convenient but that would not be obvious to anyone not familiar with Santiago. The hotel is located in a quiet street. 200 metres to the left is a busy thoroughfare with many shops, businesses and transport. 300 to 500 metres to the right and one finds oneself in the city centre. Opposite the hotel is a lovely park containing a steep hill with a gigantic glass house on the top. My room was on the 5th floor. Outside my window, a red variety of the Golden Rain Tree of India was in full bloom. It was lovely. The breakfasts were good and abundant. The staff members were pleasant, polite and helpful. Everyone seemed to speak some English. I had no language difficulties anywhere in Santiago. My stay was so pleasant that I was sorry when it came time to depart. It is a very nice hotel in a lovely city. I would love to stay there again.

Quirky rooms and decent breakfast. Good, safe location.

Stayed in two rooms, one of the rooms had a lumpy mattress.

Walls were a bit thin and could here a baby crying or people talking in the next room

It was a cheap hotel, just that.

It accomodations are terrible. Uncomfortable. The room in the winter is incredibly cold! The heating system cannot generate enough heat to make the room pleasant. My bed was noisy and the bathroom was just poor. I wouldn't recommend this to any living creature.

It's a nice hotel in a good location. There is a park in front of the hotel and many good restaurants just around the corner. I would choose this hotel again for the stay in Santiago.

The breakfast could have been better, but its ok. I survived.

O banheiro não tem ducha, o box é minúsculo, quando tomamos banho Molhamos todo o banheiro e inevitavelmente o quarto. O café da manhã poderia ser melhor.

Principalmente do atendimento dos funcionários. São muito prestativos e procuram solucionar os seus problemas prontamente.

O quarto é muito apertado. O banheiro é muito pequeno e não tem luz no box do banheiro, dificultando o banho.

Atendimento,limpeza,espaço,serviços,localização.Amei o meu quarto pela visão das cordilheiras pela janela.Perto de restaurantes,metro.Bairro silencioso.

O café da manhã não é ruim,mas é repetitivo.Eu acho que poderia diversificar.

A iluminação do parque deixou a desejar

Excelente localização, ao lado do Cerro Santa Lucia, um dos locais mais bonitos de Santiago. -O almoço é simples e barato. -A atendente que atende pelo apelido de Ru é excepcional, assim como o carregador de malas que por infelicidade esqueci o nome.

Café da manhã pobre. Hotel em reformas. Quarto minúsculo. Banheiro apertadíssimo.

Café da manhã; banheiro sem box/blindex, tendo uma cortina nojenta que gruda no seu corpo tendo em vista o espaço muito pequeno para o banho. ao terminar um banho o hospede é obrigado a enxugar o recinto sob pena de ficar no local alagado; muito barulho por ter péssima acústica; quarto pequeno(5 portas) para fechar pequenos buracos que não servem para nada; do nível de atenção da equipe de recepção; preço incompatível com o que o hotel oferece.

A localização do Hotel é muito boa e num lugar tranquilo, bem em frente ao Cerro Santa Lucia e perto de bons restaurantes no bairro Lastarria.

O atendimento nao é dos melhores, principalmente um atendente chamado Juan Carlos, que foi bem rude e mal educado quando nao fechamos passeio com ele.
