Hotel San Martin    

The sea view was spectacular, the mini suite was great, the breakfast was excellent lot of great food and variety, the staff at the bar were very nice and efficient as well as professional, great Pisco Sour, great dinner dance Friday night at the restaurant !!!

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location was great, right on the beach and close to many hotels and the casino. The guided city tour, which included Valparaiso was very worthwhile.

The bar, the restaurant, the staff, the location, the view, proximity to restaurants and shopping as well as walking on the beach.

Beds were too hard for us. Blow dryer was less than average

I loved this hotel! I stayed there for 8 nights and enjoyed everything about this place. Very safe walkable area, close to everything Vine Del Mar has to offer. Right across the street from beach and block away from shoppng. Great restaurants within 2 blocks.

I was happy with everything. Staff very friendly and helpful.

The wifi connection was not good in the room, very slow and only working in one part of the room.

The setting, the large suite-type room with balconies, the dining room, the food, the service - the whole ambience, but in particular the excellent help from Birgitta Svensson who welcomed us warmly on arrival and helped us arrange tours. A brilliant stay. Thank you.

Absolutely nothing

The location was great

The room was noisy and the bed uncomfortable. The room was small & the bathroom was tiny. Unless you pay extra for an ocean view your room doesn't look like the picture. If you want a balcony you have to request it.

The location was fabulous.

The rooms were tiny, especially the bathroom. It was impossible to bend over in the shower so you couldn't shave your legs. Except for the concierge, we found the staff to be unfriendly and dismissive.

The hot water takes a long time to arrive in the shower. The shower has a minimal water flow.

Great location right on the beach, friendly english speaking staff, nice breakfast included which had eggs, fruit etc the whole nine yards with your room and free parking.

Only con would be the decor in the room a bit dated. The chocolates for turn down service wasn't good.

From arrival to departure a most pleasurable experience. We had just gotten off a 15 cruise experiencing great food and service. The Hotel San Martin was a continuation of the same. The breakfast was lovely and delicious. The location was perfect with the beach and many interesting restaurants within easy walking distance. The concierge most helpful. Viña del Mar felt like a treasure we stumbled upon. We would definitely stay here again!

Location, Location, Location...you can park your car for the whole weekend and can walk to everything...the beach, the restaurants, some of the sites of Vina, etc.

Hotel San Martin is on the main drag of Vina. Request your room away from the main drag because you can hear all of the street noises. The pool was a bit of a challenge to find but once you did, it had great views. The breakfast buffet was alright. The eggs were undercooked and runny.
