Lovely renovated house! Nice big bedroom, well appointed. Great breakfast, friendly staff.
A bit on the noisy side as the walls are a bit thin and you can hear noise from adjoining rooms.
It's one of the old German houses. Lots of character. Good breakfast and friendly breakfast lady and cleaner.
The lounge was too cold to sit in the first night despite the radiator being on. The front door had big gaps in it letting the cold air in and the inner door wouldn't shut as the lock needed fixing. This was early March. The reception when I arrived was also frosty. I was told the owner had other businesses and rarely came to the guest house and it showed. No TV, although the staff were clearly watching something in the kitchen. No hairdryer. Moved to another old house which was much friendlier with better amenities, warmer and a similar price.
Staff were very helpful. Breakfast good but could do with more variety, but typical Argentine. The house was unusual and had been restored to a lovely standard. Parking available off road which the owner recommended. Overall a bit quirky but would definitely recommend. Excellent seafood restaurant - Valdes.
Slight walk out of centre but good exercise for me!
I liked the high ceilings, the delicious breakfasts, the central location, the pleasantness of the staff, who were always willing to help, and the general atmosphere, the slightly old-fashioned but comfortable decor.
-Breakfast -helpful and very friendly staff -you feel like in a museum :-)
Very charming place and quite easy to walk to things from there. Nice breakfast and good staff.
Charming building, with spacious rooms and eye for detail (eg.: a real rose in the bedroom). Wonderful breakfast (with fresh fruits!). Helpful staff (English speaking). Impeccable wifi-connection. Good location near the city centre.
It's not cheap, but regarding all the 'pro's' mentioned above, it's absolute value for money. If I ever go to Puerto Varas again, I definitely know where I'll be staying...!!!
