A beacon of 21st-century China, Shanghai is modernizing at an electrifying rate. Nowhere is this more evident than the skyscraper-punctuated Pudong commercial district. The most distinct - the Oriental Pearl Tower - has a ball at the top and bottom and has fabulous city views. A number of towers also twist as they go up – a feat of contemporary engineering.
This side of the city also houses Shanghai Pudong International Airport, while Shanghai Hongqiao Airport is over the Huangpu River in the Puxi district. An area of older and less dominating buildings, Puxi features the elegant Bund area whose varied architecture includes a surprising array of Art Deco.
With a choice of shopping centers and small shops beneath brightly lit neon signs just like Chinatowns across the world, Shanghai shopping is fantastic.
Other must-see Shanghai attractions include the wonderful Shanghai Museum and the Jade Buddha Temple. For a break from the hustle and bustle, head to the Yuyuan Gardens, the beach or peaceful Zhujiajiao Water Town in the west.
Whether you choose one of the Shanghai hotels, apartments or hostels, take time to go to a tea house, a Chinese institution. Also worth sampling are Shanghai hairy crab, steamed dumplings and the freshwater fish so popular with locals.
the country is big , clean and nice . Price for food and accommodation can be pricey. Lots of nice Café . My most beloved place to visit are Disney Store. Must try all their delicacy street food. they are yummy even thu is oily.

Buzzing city, hyper modern and a lot of things to do and see. Also nice restaurants. And most important; very friendly people. Say 'Hello' or give a smile and you'll get a warm hello or smile back. Shanghai has two faces, the one in the daytime and the one in the nighttime when all building are enchantingly lit (The Bund).

Shanghai, a vibrant metropolis, seamlessly blends its rich history with modernity. Take a leisurely stroll along the Bund, an iconic waterfront promenade to witness the city's past reflected in its stunning colonial-era buildings.
The city's abundant greenery adds to its charm, with beautiful tree-lined streets and blooming flowers everywhere.
For vegan travelers, Shanghai offers a wide range of diverse and delicious food options to indulge in.
Getting around is effortless with its excellent train system. The Didi taxi hire service in Shanghai is fast & efficient. Don't forget to download Alipay for cashless transactions, simplifying your experiences in China.
Note: the locals are heavy smokers, not an ideal environment for non smokers.

Shanghai is a city to feel and live.
Shanghai is a city to feel and live. Sure there are more than enough museums to keep you entertained for a week or more, but the best part for me was the life and the community feeling that i saw all around.
There is always stuff going on and people walking around.
There are tons of nice places to eat at and the coffee scene is second to none.
The metro in Shanghai makes it possible to go almost anywhere you want for a super cheap price. The times we were lazy and decided to take a taxi we ended up taking longer time to reach our destination.

I have travelled to Shanghai for almost 15 years and always like the hustle and bustle of the city. Just wish they would be more animal friendly and aware of helping animals and have more pet services to help abandoned and stray pets. I find this very upsetting. The Chinese have come a way but have a l o n g way to go wrt animal welfare ... This aspect really spoils my Shanghai experience. They have an efficient subway system that's clean and on time. Easy to use and inexpensive. The markets and street vendors are fun and the local food is delicious and fresh. Etiquette amongst locals needs urgent attention ... hawking and spitting is gross but very evident and sometimes one has to look carefully where you put your feet.
The location is great. The hotel is next to a subway hub served by 4 lines, which go to to key locations like Lujiazui, Nanjing Road, People's Square, Xujiahui, Quiantan, and Pudong & Hongqiao Airports. There are many restaurants right outside the hotel.
Shanghai has an extensive subway system. If you intend to rely on the subway, this hotel is a good option.
Our room has a great view of Shanghai's skyscrapers.
I stayed here as it was close to Shanghai Pudong Airport. After the small entrance the large area of the hotel on the third floor was a surprise. One big plus for me is that the hotel was not kept a a silly high temperature, room was 16 degrees on arrival but was quickly brought up to 20, much better than starting at 24 -26 degrees and then struggling to get it down because Air Con is set to heat only in November.
We really liked the rooms we stayed and the hotel was near the airport with the free shuttle bus service. We choose to stay the night before we flew back to the UK. The hotel manager Christina was very kind to arrange a car to pick us up from the metro station after we arrived shanghai from Beijing. Friendly and helpful staff. I will recommend this hotel if you travel from the airport near to this hotel.
Good spread at breakfast, including Western & Chinese dishes. Staff are accommodating and always happy to help. Nanjing Road pedestrian street is right on the next corner. The nearest metro station that connects straight to Pudong Airport is just 7 minutes walk away from the hotel. There is also a good restaurant that serves pot, noodles, and heavenly dumplings right in front of the hotel.
The location was good. It was close to Nanning Road and the Bund. Staff was nice and helpful. Best value for money. The room was clean (not as a 5* hotel), the bed was comfortable. Overall it was a good stay. Breakfast was better than in many Chinese Hotels, I got free breakfast but definitely would pay for it if I don't.
One of the best hotels in Shanghai The price/quality ratio is one of the best in the city. Of course, someone may be bothered by the size of the room. The great spacious modern lobby where you can quietly read, watch TV and have a drink - all complemented by English-speaking staff
One of the biggest and cleanest hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed!!! So comfortable!! Didn’t even feel like leaving the room!!!
Don’t know why it’s stated as a 4 stars hotel. It’s definitely a 5 stars.
Staff speaks very good English and they are so helpful and friendly.
I love everything about this hotel! The room is sooo big and nice, as well as the bathroom, the view is breathtaking, the staff is super friendly and the location is also amazing. From now on this will be the hotel I’ll be staying at when I come to Shanghai.
Pleasant enough hotel very convenient for the airport, not very convenient for exploring central Shanghai, the Maglev is only 80MRB return but drops you around 6 miles from where you want to be so then you have to take the metro to get to the tourist areas
Love the central location of the hotel, walking distance to NanJing Pedestrian Road/The Bund/Metro Station.
Room is very spacious and clean. Will consider to stay in this hotel again should we return to Shanghai.
The hotel was fabulous.
In the center of Shanghai. Fully equipped with everything we needed.
The rooms were super clean and the view from the rooms was amazing.
Maybe it's the best hotel I ever stayed in.
●Good and reasonable price in Pudong
●Helpful and nice staffs, good manner
●Quiet and comfortable room with air cleaner
●All good facility match 4 stars hotel same as another Holiday inn in HongKong or Macau.
This has to be one of the best hotels that I’ve stayed in. Location, staff, facilities, breakfast, comfort - everything is 10/10 to me. I would (and I probably will) book this hotel again. Highly recommended.
Amazing central hotel in Shanghai, very close to the Bund. The room was massive (junior suite) and very comfortable with amazing view to Pudong. Cleaning was also very good.
Hotel In the very center of Shanghai. 3 metro lines just beside the hotel, each to go anywhere.
All the staff are very helpful and friendly. Very polite .
