Guangzhou Bontai Hotel    

Close to convention centre, close to metro, open view. I forgot to take back credit card after checkout...hotel was kind enough to courier to back at their cost to me.

No restaurants, no room service, no business centre. Yes there is kitchenette in room with microwave oven, tea/coffee making facilties and probably also hot plate all in the room.....the place is better classified as serviced apartment rather than a hotel.

Close to Canton Fair. Clean and fairly new building.

It would have been more comfortable sleeping on the floor because the beds were so hard.

1- this hotel is 4 star but I think is 3. 2- this is not hotel but apartment. 3-The service is poor.

It is awful hotel! Certainly no 5 star, maximum 3 - dont buy the rating. I strongly suggest while booking in China to take western branded hotels. 1St of all, the breakfast place was so awful that we ate there only once, and it was horrible - dirty, ugly, not tasty, not healthy (seems like they dont change oil at all). 2Nd, out toilet didnt work properly. 3Rd, internet was falling off every 5-10 min, u had to re- connect. The personnel was barely speaking english, we could not even book a taxi from them! Everything in the room was in chinese, so to operate the conditioner I had to use Google Translator :). the room itself was ok, but all these small and medium details gave very bad impression.

This hotel has no hotel facility. Location is very bad. Hospitality is very poor. I do not understand how Booking.com has rated this hotel as 5 Stars hotel. I believe that this hotel should not be rated at all. This hotel can serve as bed and breakfast facility. It has no Lobby and there is no staff to help you to move your luggage to and from your room, also, the accommodation is not worthy to say that your are in a two Stars hotel. Please remove this hotel from booking.com it is a disappointing place.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. This was the only good thing about the hotel.

I booked a twin room for two people and specifically wrote twin beds in the special notes. I booked for 3 nights. When we arived, the lobby looks very poor. The lady gave me 3 single breakfast vouchers and when i questioned what about the 2nd person she said we only booked a single room even though my partner is standing next to me. She checked and realised she was wrong. Then to the lift where there was a swarm of mosquitoes inside and their was water dripping from the roof puddling on the ground. The lifts remained that way for the entire stat and we had to stand in certain areas to not get wet and also keep swatting the mosquitoes. When we go to the room it looked nothing like the pictures and had a very small double bed. I said to the bellboy we ordered twin beds and he said we would have to pay extra to put another bed n the room. He rang reception and they again realised their error and even though we had put down all our luggage in the room we changed to another room with twin beds. You have to go out of the hotel to a nearby seafood restaurant for breakfast and we didn't bother doing this any morning as breakfast closes by 9.30 and it was too much hassle to walk down the street. I decided to extend my stay in Guangzhou but happily left Bontai. for the same money you can find much better value with onsite restaraunts and facilities For westerners the only english tv channel is RT which is a great news channel but not good if you want to watch a movie or something before bed. One of the reasons i chose this hotel was because it appeared to have a kitchen but on arrival there was just two cups. We asked for plates and cutlery and cooking stuff but they could only offer us 2 plastic plates and forks and knives which we had to sign for. Ridiculous!! I only stayed here as it is close to the canton fair and other than that there is nothing in the local area.

Room was cleanliness, it is close to fair, but there is nothing close to the hotel except metro station.

View was quite good as for the location. I had very good overall impression during 111th Canton Fair. Hotel is localized 2 subway stations away from the exhibition complex, which is very convenient. Nevertheless the proximity, hotel was organizing shuttle bus to Canton Fair. Rooms are tidy and well equipped.

Breakfast canteen is located outside, in separate restaurant. It is pretty close and it does not take too much effort to go there but breakfast itself does not meet my tastes at all (service was very friendly and helpful though).

Everything is in chinese. Breakfast is outside the building and only disgusting chinese food. During the night you can wake up because a prostitute would knock at your door.

Ну что я могу сказать? Это самый неудачный отель в моей жизни. Реально - дорого. И пусть бы так, но не понятно за что. Очень неровный интернет. Например, авиабилеты по нему купить не возможно. Прерывается и все набираешь заново. Завтрак - отстой. При заселении просят сумасшедший депозит. В минибаре - пусто. Обслуживание в номере - опять крайне дорого. Дешевле самому в ближайший магазин сходить. Полотенца не меняют. Номер убирают отвратительно.

El hotel en si, al menos donde nos alojamos es un apartamento con cocina, sin lujos pero suficiente para dormir y ducharte dignamente. Lo mejor: línea de metro a escasos 100 mtrs. A 2 paradas de la Feria. Habitación aceptable, colchones duros como piedras. Baño bien. La relación calidad precio es bastante aceptable.

добрый день. подскажите с кем я могу связаться по поводу возврата денег за бронирование, оформленное через ваш сайт на сумму 1220 юаней 18.02.2013 года в отеле Bontai город Гуанчжоу. При заселении с нас была удержана сумма депозита за проживание и отдельно предварительное бронирование. При выселении 05.03.2013 менеджер сказал, что сумма за бронирование будет возвращена на карту в течении 3 рабочих дней. На сегодняшний день возврата денежных средств не было. Прошу помочь в решении данной проблемы.

Реально большая кровать!

В номере было прохладно, а кондей не работал на обогрев! На ресепшене НИКТО не говорил по английски! Проблемы с чтением, либо с мозгами у уборщиц! Не понятно для кого я вывешивал табличку "не беспокоить"! Интернет не работал - приходилось спускаться в лобби!

Расположение - недалеко от выставочного центра Пачжоу, рядом с метро.

Плохие завтраки. В радиусе расположения отеля отсутствуют рестораны с европейской кухней и меню на аглийском. Есть только Макдональдс и KFC
