Location close to the Forbidden City, Jingshan Park and the shopping street Wang Fu Jing - all within walking distance Poor or no service at Hotel, very poor cleaniness, flooding in bathroom, entrance from a back street (dirty and smelly)which make it hard to find for taxi'S. Remove 2 stars and you get a more realistic picture of the hotel. Will not stay there again

Well located but services don't corresponds to a 4 star hotel. Not recomended. This hotel is wrongly rated, it should be classified as 2 stars maximum. There is not closet in the room, just a wooden hanger. There is not space to place a chair to seat in front of small desk, room is quite small.

hotel is very nice, very closed to forbidden city (2 min) and to the city (10 minutes walking). Rooms are big, clean, hotel is very quiet, and everybody tries to make your trip better.

The hotel was off a busy and dirty little backstreet, which initially caused us some concern... But actually it seemed to be very safe and quietened down significantly at night. The hotel is very close to the forbidden city, Tian'an men square and some of the city parks so its location was excellent. The room was clean and more than adequate for the price. The doors to the rooms are not well insulated so corridor noise (other guests, annoying lift 'bonging' and cleaners) could be easily heard in the rooms - This was especially a problem when fellow guests were gathering in the landings before leaving to see the sun rise over the great wall at 4am! The breakfast, whilst cheap, wasn't worth getting out of bed for either.

The location was great, very close to Forbidden City, Tian'anmen Square and also main shopping street. Staff was always helpful and there was always at least one staff who spoke good English. Good deal for the price and location. Cleanliness is alright but could be better however as this is quite a budget hotel for Beijing standards it was perfectly fine.

I like King Parkview because the room rate per night is cheap. The hotel is also accessible to fruit stands, flea markets and the Forbidden City. The concierge do not speak fluent English. It's very difficult to communicate. I hope the hotel will have at least one staff in the counter who can speak fluent English so that the guests will not have a difficult time explaining what they want to say. Also the food during breakfast is not very appealing. The hotel should improve their menu for breakfast. One thing more, the hotel should have a business card that will feature the complete address of the hotel including a complete map with the streets clearly indicated. we had a hard time getting a taxi back to the hotel because the taxi drivers cannot locate the hotel using the business card given by the hotel concierge.

Good location at a reasonable price. The bottom of the twin beds in our room were about three inches off the floor. It appeared to be very difficult to clean under them. We had a lot of trouble with dust allergies because there was a considerable amount of dust under the beds.

Very good location and overall quality of room was nice regarding the price. English skills of reception staff were sufficient. Nice choice for backpackers and people just staying to sleep there and explore Beijing. There was construction work going on outside which kept me from sleeping…but since that was something that the Hotel had no influence on I can't really blame it on them. The billing process was a bit confusing, will have to check what they really charged me in the end.

The hotel was very near jingshan Park and the Forbidden City (on walking distance). It was almost impossible to let the reception arrange a taxi for you. The line was always busy, the reception said. Chinese people didn't have these problems.

The staff is very friendly + kind. The bed was very uncomfortable; you could feel the springs in the matress. The bathroom smelled, not in a healthy way. The general cleanliness of the room was poor.
