The closeness to the Forbidden City and good local restaurants
The distance from metro stations
The temperature inside the room was too high.no way to regulate it.
not very close to subway, had to walk in the freezing cold fromu dongsi station to the hotel at midnight, and the taxi drivers did'nt want to drive us cz it only takes 13yuan
they will try to rip you of by letting you pay a fee of 15 %. Call booking.com and suddenly the will not talking about a fee but about a deposit. Be carefull with this hotel.
front desk girls tried to understand what guest wants, room service crew
Dirty blocked shower, smelly toilet, Hotel manager attitude and gratitude. Also I did not like business center girl who ripped me off for air tickets.
Convenient to The Forbidden CIty and Tienemen Square. Nice walk to shopping district and resturants. Quiet being off busy streets. Friendly staff. English skills of some staff is rather low. Appearance was pretty clean and modern. In a room for 3 adults. Had a loft and was very spacious. Very good value for the cost.
Found a roach in the bathroom the second day. Had a nice mat in the shower. Looked like it belonged there but it blocked the drain. Could have had a mess.
Location - close to Forbidden City, Jenshan Park, trolleybus stop, off the main road. There are several convenience stores and fruit/vegetable shops in the vicinity. Room was a decent size, beds comfortable, tea making facilities and effective airconditioning.
Poor level of English of staff, including reception and travel consultants. Wi Fi only available in the lobby and rather slow.
great view, next to subway, food, atm, washer was great in room!
thermostat didn't work, breakfast?, needed more data for room service, needed more data for delivery service, needed a dryer for clothes..
Near to buses, parks and the exit of the forbidden city.
Hotel charged more per night and wouldn't include breakfast when we extended our stay.they wouldn't take a booking direct and we had booked the in the previous week with adobe and decided to stay 5 more days but the hotelhad no vacancies on their site. We kept the same room.
Spacious room Cleanliness of room Proximity to site in Beijing Interesting neighborhood Good variety and quantity for breakfast.
Hard beds Lack of most of the front desk staff to communicate in English.
Walking distance to many local tourist spot like Beihai park, Jingshan park, forbidden city, Tiananmen Square, night street food market.
Shuttle bus service required from railway station and airport as it's difficult to find hotel location in night specially when u do not know Chinese language as the hotel is more than 20 mins walk from subway stations.
Huge bugs in the room ...
The most central place to go on sightseeing on foot!
Location Late checkout facility (chargeable)
Cleanliness - particularly in bathroom Poor wifi service Erratic service from staff Noise in corridors early morning
poor language, not good cleaning time
Fabulous roof garden with view of Forbidden City and Jingshan Park, and well located centrally in Beijing, and by a hutong. Vibrant street with lots of cheap, good eats.
Don't buy the breakfast - it's poor quality and you can get far better quality and cost in the street nearby. Smell of sewerage as you come in from the street.
The comfort The price large rooms clean professionnal service
-good 20mn walk to the nearest metro station -business is business: I had to pay 0.5€ for a broken glass after nearly one week spent with the family in the hotel. -The staff is not always helpful, although some of them do try to help
Central location . Good staff . Services are basic but the hotel is small enough to be friendly.
Small street where hotel is located is getting choked by walking tour groups are souvenir sellers blocking traffic . Your taxi may not be able to get through .
Far from Metro station
i liked location and staff .
breakfast & room facilities
The location of the hotel is an advantage. They offer a service of tours in and out the city that are cheaper than other places
The location is superb. Off a busy little street full of locals selling their wares and just several minutes from many major must-see areas of Beijing. The rooms were clean and the staff very friendly. I am glad I chose this as our base rather than a high end hotel stuck on a busy main road.
The shower looked a little in need of some TLC but apart from that nothing to fault.
Location and facilities were good and some staff were very helpful and nice
Would not pre book a taxi for us to catch our train back to Nanning when we were leaving. Had to find our own which was damn difficult as we needed two taxis. We nearly missed it because of their lack of help. Cleanliness and attention to detail to bathroom etc was inconsistent. Had to pay 4500 deposit and at the end, the bill was 4148 but I still had to use my credit card again. I can only hope the 4500 will be refunded. They assured us the rooms were fine as we checked out. Why not simply take the bill off the deposit paid given that the so called deposit exceeded the total bill anyway? Some things such as fridge and computer in room did not work. It could be a great place to stay but, it was definitely not one of our better experiences compared to Europe, New Zealand.Australia and other Asian countries
