Most front desk staffs are well trained, except one lady is very rude when she cannot find my booking information at first try, she did not try to solve the problem. When I try to find the booking information online She asked me to go away the front desk as she wants to serve the next guest!
Staff like Hin from reception and housekeeping were all very friendly and always greet us. They are all very helpful in direct us with place of interests.
The only minus point is mrt station are 15mins walk from Hotel.
The location was good, Olympic Games area, Metro nearby. The bed and bed sheets were good. The room was spacy enough.
The reception personnel was not helpful. We had to ask the night administrator to tackle our issue upon arrival. No shuttle bus or any helpful information to reach the airport|/hotel. the taxi has charged us 4.75 times more to reach the hotel. On check out we could not ask them call a taxi company to ask the taxi. They were constantly referring to the bellboy, we made tremendous efforts to agree the fair price with the taxi driver to reach airport back. The room has a strong smell of sanitation when we entred, the towels were not fresh. the reception personnel speaks English poor and is not eager to help you. First time in China, Beijin. Very frastrating.
The staff at the tour desk were extremely helpful and friendly.
Very friendly staff that do speak English. We arrived at 01:30 in the morning and were welcomed with bottles of water and someone to take our luggage. Walking to the China National Convention Center takes you through the Olympic Park.
Rooms are somewhat on the small side but this is not an issue if you plan to be outside most of the day. Tourists should just keep in mind that it is not close to the main attractions
Room is clean and comfy. View of Bird nest (partial)
Staffs cant talk in English. Can't tell us where we can have dinner. Worse is they asked us what does "pax" means (they asked me to translate some other guest's email). What a weird welcome ;(
Staff is very good
Smoking smell in a non smoking room
considering the size of the hotel it was very quiet.
personal seems not very well trained (check- in and check-out took very long and they had problems to react to any little modification)
Good choice of asian food for breakfast, however the breakfast was not included in the room rate and was rather expensive. Very helpful staff. Very close to the olympic stadium, however not that close to a metro station.
AC was not working, it was 25 deg all the time, couldn't lower it. The fridge had the same problem - was not cooling. WiFi could be faster, there was no iron in the room. High deposit.
Closeness to the olympic village, clean and comfortable rooms
Problems with the internet (not a stable connection), the staff speaks English also poor (at least most of them), no printing service for guests
It is very close to the olympic village.
Staff does not speak english. Room was quite dirty, mold in the bathroom, furniture and carpet were full of spots, sheets were dirty. Also, upon arrival, they demanded, in advance, the payment of the full fee for the days I had my reservation.
Convenient location for the Olympic area and the convention centre. Shiny lobby and cosy corridors, comfortable overall.
It is quite far away from the city centre if you do not specifically need this area. Underground stations are not close either. Superior rooms, although comfortable, are small and far below expectations for 600 RMB/night, with regards to the 5 stars and Chinese standards. In particular, bathrooms have rust and rooms facing the road can be noisy. I had a parcel sent to the hotel, and I gave detailed instructions to the staff. However, they lost my parcel and did not show much concern in finding it.
Hotel was very clean, the staff tried to be helpful and kind.
Some furniture was a bit out-of-date, bathroom needed a reconstruction. Hotel was not very well-equipped. There was no wardrobe, it was a bit problem to place all the stuff from luggage to the room, there was not a even a single bench in the lobby to be used when waiting for friends, no swimming pool, actually there was generally nothing, only hundreds of rooms. Not too much for the price. The staff could improve English.
location close to Beijing Convention Centre, staff helpful and friendly in general
No wired internet in the room despite hotel policy claims otherwise. They couldn't connect my laptop to the internet but the tech support was only a general staff not an IT technician. Wifi was decent enough for voice call and browsing websites.
- Location - Clean ans spacious room
- Staff hardly speak English. Sometimes this is frustrating - Had to give deposit (over 100 euros) for the use of minibar. - There is a metro station in 10 min just outside the olympic park but you have to be back before 21.30 as the gate of the park closes. If not you have to go around to reach the hotel
Close to BICC, convenient for attending conference. No problem with English, unlike previous experiences with Chinese hotels. Free wifi in room (but beware, Google and Dropxbox do not work in China) Less priced than similar hotels in the same area.
Rooms were very comfortable. Staff was helpful and understanding. Location was convenient to the convention center and the Olympic facilities.
Good location next to conference centre
Air conditioning too weak, so room too hot. Decor is past it's best. Will try a different hotel if I need to stay in that part of the city again
Location, nice rooms.
The fact that I was unable to communicate with staff in English was frustrating. I will ask a question and even those who spoke some English would respond with an answer that had nothing to do with the question. Breakfast buffet was big and well stocked but mostly with Asian style food. If this hotel wants to attract non-Chinese business men, they must consider offering more variety. Cheese always looked like it was a week old. Bread was never fresh. Eggs looked runny. The workers did not speak any English and made ordering an omlette a frustrating experience. The restaurant opened at 6:30 A.M. yet many things were still not in place. Then there are those products that one could not tell what they were because the packaging was only in Chinese. Staff would cough and sneeze freely around food.. Just awful.
