Feels like a royalty. The hotel itself is a tourist spot. The staff is accommodating. My experienced was very positive. I will recommend this hotel to all my friend and anyone out there who wants to visit Beijing...
About 15-20 min walk to the forbidden city. Vey close to the subway
The food was generally not good. Dried crust on the salat dressing evey morning. Very slow to refill the buffet if at all. Most food didn't look or taste fresh. Poor service. Hardly anyone that speaks english. Obviuously very öittle interest in selling organsized trips at the excursions desk ( we did get to the great wall with though). The ventilation in room was terrible - they did unlock a window upon our request because it was 25 degrees C in our room. That created a draft from the hall through our room out the window like in a windtunnel and there was absolutely no air comming in though the window. Wifi was so slow that most pages would load at all and it was that slow everywhere in the hotel. The hotel has a very peculiar neo-barock style, but you can see that in the pictures so not something to complain about. Overall the lack of english is a problem when it comes to service. Your get someone on the serviceline who maybe understands what you want, but then they send a group of housekeepers and maintenance workes up to your room none of which speaks a word english.
- Comfortable - Clean - convenience location
people was there to help, excellent hotel
I stayed in a family room with my parents for 3 nights. The hotel is very quiet, clean and amazing. The staffs are very friendly and polite. I also joined their one day tours, which were excellent.
Location and Luxery
Service and location, breakfast are all very good!
Some rooms has a door connect to another, during the night can hear quiet well of the noise (if your neighbor is noisy... Lived there for a week and happen only one night, immediately solved by the hotel so really can not complain.
location maybe classic design
- first of all when I checked in to my room it was not cleaned well, I saw used razor under basin table which is really disgusting. Its a nice hotel with nice romantic decorative style but the management has to take more care regarding cleanness of the rooms. - the executive lounge was not good with very little choices and they charge me for using computer per minute. - very hard to get taxi.
The room are amazing the lobby is very nice , the hotel looks really nice and it is nice .
The service, the facilities and the room
Limited bar snacks choice, the bed had an indent in the mattress
It was clean, and comfortable. I also liked their amenities.
Lack of choices of breakfast. Nothing else.
We stayed in junior suit. The room was nicely decorated and very spacious. We enjoyed access to the Noble Club. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed there with our 4 year old boy and all the staff was very nice and interactive with him.
Chinese restaurant downstairs wasn't very good.
The personal touch of the personnel / staff. In particular Ms. Chiara was a wonderful host
Staff was attentive and helpful. Beautiful hotel in the center of town.
Minor cracks in wall.
Over the top old world charm, but it carries it very well. The beds, pillows and quilts absolutely wonderful. spacious well appointed rooms and great bathroom - very enjoyable hotel smack in the heart of downtown Beijing.
Hard to find faults during our 2 night stay
Everything fine and the breakfast is excellent. Also English speaking staff which is good.
Very well decorated, good breakfast, well service. We had checked in very early morning like 7am complimentary. Stayed in a executive room... It was awesome
Taking taxi is very big problem ... Executive lounge is soo poor
This hotel is pure elegance with a reasonable price tag Easy walk to pedestrian street / food street/ metro station Dinner buffet/ breakfast was beautiful so yummy but we had just spent a month in Mongolia :) Crisp white cotton sheets = bliss All the staff were charming especially the French & Italian staff members- nothing was to much trouble for them
Over priced tour desk
Everything: the hotel is luxury, new, great food, everyone is very kind and helpful, location is central
The hotel interior looks spectacular and the room was very nice, clean and comfortable too. Amenities were at a high level. 2 sinks in the bathroom. Very good shower. Breakfast has a huge variety of delicious foods, including Chinese ones. Located in a very modern area, right near Wangfujing st. (a modern pedestrian street with lot's of luxurious shops) and the night food market (where you can try or at least look at scorpions and other weird foods on a skewer). About 20 minutes walk from Tienanmen square. Service was really good. Definitely recommend this hotel.
Transparent doors in the toilet section and shower section of the bathroom. Windows in the room couldn't be opened (but with the Beijing smog, I'm not sure it's bad). The receptionist who first met us was a bit cold and not very welcoming, but all others were very nice and friendly.
There is one girl in reception is not very friendly
Decoration, noble club room, a outstanding hotel, I 'll give a six star rank
Lovely hotel, great location in wealthy part of town amongst many luxury hotels. Close to Wanfujing, Snack Street and good restaurants. Breakfast was included and was very good with both western and Chinese food.
