Lack of no smoking rooms
I like every thing:staff, facility, location, cleanlyless etc
I like the fact that it is near in Forbidden City and other places in Beijing.
The rooms has no window.
It was right in the center of beijing. The indications aren't very clear so taxi drivers would get a bit confused. The room was nice, it had space and it was clean.
The breakfast hadn't great options of ocidental food (eggs, toasts and fruit...). The wifi was only available in the lobby. The staff barely speaked english.
Reasonable price, convenient and quiet.
Proximity to historical places such as Tiananmen Square, Forbiden City, Temple of Heaven.
Our room has no windows. Very few TV channels. And we realized that social networking is prohibited or restricted there in China.
Close to interesting sights. We walked to many parks, the Forbidden City, and Tiananmen Square.
It was hard to find until we got used to it. Taxi dropped us to walk down a narrow road about 1 1/2 blocks.
Location was good. Bed was fairly comfortable. Shower was good too.
Air-conditioning isn't room controllable but controlled by staff so it got hot. Staff didn't speak English so complaining was pointless. Don't book your trips with the person in the hotel as she seems to bend the truth about the trips, our trip to great wall was suppose to take 2 hours and it took 4, we paid more than other hotels and it wasn't a small group but a big group of 20. We wanted to take a private car there but she convinced us not to, im assuming this was for the commission.
Good location for visiting Central tourist attractions on foot. Staff helpful but English limited.
Quite a long walk to subway station. About 1 kilometre as I recall.
Location is closed to fobidden city, however, no real shopping around. And place is hard to ge too, so getting taxis and going into town can be expensive!
The people at front desk almost did not speak english. The breakfast was poor for ocidental standarts. The room smels a little bit of smoke and the carpet floor had many stains. No english channels on tv.
Check out at 2pm, Clean, Good room size.
Staff spoke very little English. Not best location.
Hotel location is nice, close to forbidden city and some other historical places.
Towels were very very old. Room was not ready and they changed my room from Deluxe to standard with same price!! the hotel even didn't know hotel didn't know my reservation before i reach. There is no WIFI in the room as mentioned on Booking.com website. There is no shuttle bus as mentioned on Booking.com website.
staff are friendly.
No WIFI in room, can't believe it's 2014.
Close to Forbidden city
Drinks in fridge were out of date...by 12 months. No reply to emails asking for airport transfer until I'd landed at Beijing airport which is too late then. No western style breakfast options.
Betty the receptionist was very helpful and patient with us nothing was too much trouble if there was an english word she didn't understand she would get out her dictionary to help. the other girls were ok but not like Betty. the sheets and room were clean the bike hire was very useful
I know the beds in china are more firm or hard but this one was lumpy hard, but I could still sleep. the air conditioner temperature didn't seem to have control. It was over 30 c in the room and -10 c outside I suppose it was better than being cold
foods are satisfactory.tast is good.its very close to frobident city.satisfactory with comfort.
need to improve cleaness of the room.when i shift the bed little away there were so many dirty things was under the bed.and also stuwards are not available close visinity when we taking foods and need to wait long time to order additional requirements.also they have charged me for a cost of bedsheet approx half of room price. because small(arr 1.5 inch) pen line was in a bed sheet.its better for locals than foreigners.lasantha wijesinghe.from nanjing
cooperative and nice staff
poor western kitchen
Histórical beijing near, so is find to walk a round some atractions. Taxi, and bus near.
All the hotel smell horrible. Really horrible. Tour buses cant acces to the door because it is a kind a market. Air conditions doesnt work at all, i ask for reparation but nothing. So i die from heat. In general, if you are not used to chinesse food, Style, etc, dont stay there.
Located right in the center of Beijing on a Hutong so you cannot get much more traditional and authentic than this. Many sights within 15 minutes walk away.
It doesn't have a bar (to buy a beer and chill out) and very few suitable nearby. Room service didn't always stock the room with bottled water when needed so had to ask.
Strong smoke smell in the room No Wifi in the rooms, only in the lobby
good location, friendly staff
Proximity to Forbidden city, Jingshan park, wangfujing shopping street, quiet back lane reminiscent of old Beijjng, hotel food was good
Room was hot and no fan,
Well some of the staff was very friendly and some just strange.
Well the location description could have been better, the bad smelling rooms, the big communication problems either i did not understand them at all NOR did they understand us. It was always a hard time to question something. THe Internet is very very poor in the room. Only in the lobby it worked out. All in all i find it for such poor service costly. There are definetly better priced hotels for this low quality and service. Taxi Service another big issue in Beijing.
The staff was pretty nice and helpful. There was a leak and clog in the sink, but they immediately had someone fix it upon request. The comfort level and everything was ok for the money (relatively speaking--more compared to the other expensive hotels in Beijing)
Old, smokey smell. It wasn't really that close to the Forbidden City because it was close to the back entrance. It wasn't far from a bus stop though. They advertised a pool table, but there wasn't one.
