The room and bathroom was nice and big. There were all the necessary equipment and toiletries. Comfortable beds.
The curtains were dirty. There were fruit peels under the bed (I saw when I was looking for my things), they didn't wash the cups and just left where I put them with the tea inside. The breakfast was more of a Chinese style, no cheese or butter. A bit difficult for foreigners. The staff almost doesn't speak English. But it was not that much of a problem.
Location is quite good, with a few shopping centres and nice restaurants around.
Facility looks quite old, toilet is not that clean, especially the shower is slow and weak. Asking for a double bed room, and when I got there, they don't have any double room left. Long walk to the entrance to get a taxi. Some staff are not really helpful, asking front desk to arrange a taxi to airport, their offer is twice more expensive than other taxi. The whole experience wasn't pleasant at all.
comfortable, soundproof room; convenience to subway; choices for breakfast. When I had trouble connecting with the telephone to the U. S., a young woman with excellent English and technology skills came to my room to help me connect. The TGIFridays restaurant; proximity to the shopping mall.
An old subway map was given to us at first, so we had to figure out which way to go with only the wall maps on the platforms or in the trains to see sites. Tours from the hotel to attractions didn't take credit cards. Sometimes the front reservation staff took care of others before me, even if I was there first.
The breakfast was good, but the food for lunch and dinner didn't taste good.
I liked the facilities and the buildings and especially the gardens.
We didn't like the fact that the rooms smelled of smoke and the age of the fixtures and fittings in the rooms.
Quiet! A real plus in Beijing, a lovely leafy compound. Very near subway stop. Wifi in all rooms.
The bed were not so comfortable
The stuff doesn't speak English. The hotel is old. Nothing works properly. It's far from everything. I don't recommend this hotel.
Location, easy access to subway. Garden. Staff tries to help to no avail
It is not really an hotel but a serious of hotels in a condo type of place. The hotels go from 5 to 2 stars. I tried two of the hotels and 3 rooms and they were all very dirty. I had to choose the less dirty....
Great room, incredible parklike surrounding. Sounds of birds in the middle of Beijing. Breakfast, though not included, was memorable.Same goes for the swimmingpool.Wonderful beergarden at night in summertime. What a retreat after a busy day in the city.
Internet connection is really poor. May be it is make sense to bring a WLAN cable with you.
The gardens, even in winter, are a relief in Beijing.
Housekeeping is inefficient...three lots of fu yuan arriving at all hours of the morning. No 'do not disturb' sign for door, just for telephone.
difficulty in english communication at the reception. Price from booking.com was confirmed only after long talk
