Right alongside a famous 'old-style' street with plenty of vendors. Walk to the subway is about 5 minutes, so easily accessible. Great central location.

Few nearby grocery-style stores. Odd smell in room for our first night. Didn't really notice it after that.

Receptionist very helpful & friendly! Great location!

Beware of con artists around tianamen square! Young girls pose as English students wanting to practise English they then take you to a tea house and the bill is very expensive 800yuan and we got away lucky! Do not let any locals take you to a tea house/bar/art gallery of their choice. This is a big trick!
