Room was comfortable and big. Staff was helpful, though not everyone speaks english. But that is normal in china. NOt sure how it is in 5 star hotels. Location is as shown , very near the airport so is very convenient if you need that.
Air conditioner was a bit noisy. For the airport/hotel transfer you will have to ask in what gate of the terminal they will be waiting. Otherwise, you will have to call the hotel from the airport to find out. Except for that detail, the service worked very well.
fast pickup at the airport, nice large rooms, good cost/benefit relation
Staff is friendly and waited for 2 hours at airport to pick my family and I to the hotel. If it is not the free shuttle service and the land tour assembling at the airport the next day in the morning, I don't think I would want to stay a night at Kai Sheng Xing Feng International Hotel . The location is not convenient. I also like the room as it is clean.
The location is not convenient. No free shuttle service if one would like to go to the town. So you can imagine the place is really secluded. Of course, there are nearby chinese eateries but limited choices.
No kowledge of English besides one person on the reception.
Locality - very near to the exhibition centre and airport.
No wi fi service in rooms . Lounge not well heated. No one speaks english . Bar and restaurant close at 9.00pm. No mediteranean food.
Cold lobby, average Restaurant, smokey hallways, Very poor WiFi etc, weak Shower,
A simple, cheap hotel with everything it should have. Contrary to other reviews, all of the reception staff we encountered spoke reasonable English. Only 15 minutes walk to China National Convention Centre Subway station as well, if leisurely strolls through Chinese industrial estates are your thing!
We arrived at the airport at 00.30, admittedly a slightly dubious hour! We'd pre-notified our flight times for the hotel shuttle as requested, and on making a second enquiry as where we needed to go when we got to the airport I did get a response. The English in the email was almost incomprehensible though - luckily the airport tourist information desk managed to call the hotel and relayed a message on where to wait. Twenty minutes of extremely persistent offers from taxi touts later a rather dodgy minibus appeared (broken seats in the back and broken seatbelts!) - whilst we found this a fairly amusing and dare I say authentic introduction to our China experience, I'm not sure this would be for everyone!
Bedroom & bathroom were clean & comfortable.
Breakfast cutlery & food ran out early & was not replenished. Hotel Restaurant closed early but adjacent restaurant Kai Yuan Shi Fu was excellent.
Nice sized room with good bathroom. Pick-up from the airport at 4:00 am was much appreciated.
Lack of Western style breakfast food (would have been nice with some yogurt and coffee). Staff could perhaps smile a bit more!
Close to the airport. Large rooms. Quiet, could not hear any noise from nearby traffic or planes.
The staff was speaking English but the skills was quite limited and they were a bit hard to understand sometimes.
Location is not good, there isn't good super market near. Internet is awefull , I should just stay at lobby for using internet.
rooms with window
better good temper staff
Location is good if looking for a hotel near airport. Hotel shuttle service is good.
Close to the airport, good food in restaurants close by.
Ashtray and stink of cigarettes in a no-smoking room. Dirty, in need of maintenance. Pretty grotty location. No wifi in the room. Bar closes at 9. Staff unhelpful.
Rude staff and Communication was difficult.
For the money this is a very good vale for money hotel. All the fittings are good quality and it has the feel and finish of a more upmarket hotel. Dinner and breakfast are both good value and tasty.
The staff speak very little English, so communication is a problem unless you get the one member that appeared to speak relatively good English. Wifi only works in the front area of the hotel
Great staff. I dont know about their English skills, but speaking in Chinese they're among the best hotel staff i ever dealt with.
Kinda out in the country, near the airport. No noise problems, but the subway is about a 10 minute walk away. You can taxi it though.
Decent room for price. Had to stay overnight in Bejing as a layover. Was waiting for me with a sign.
Took over 1hour for shuttle driver to get me to hotel. They wanted more passengers. At 12:00 AM really? Drivers did not speak any English so hard to communicate. Asked for $500 RNB deposit, and when I checked out, did not want to refund me the difference between the cost of my room and the deposit. Again very poor English spoken even though they advertised that there was English spoken. Only one person spoke English and they were not there on check out. Everything appeared clean in room except for rug which was filthy. I did not take off my shoes. In a terrible slum part of town. Will pay extra and stay at American named hotel next time.
The staff is absolutely unprofessional. 30 mins to check in and 30 mins to check out. It was hard to communicate with them because they are not fluent in English. Toilets were disgusting.
Vicinity to the airport
The room had a view of the aisle
Free shuttle bus. Nice and clean hotel. Fridge with some drinks. Good Chinese breakfast.
I think the shuttle bus is too small.. Drivers are nice though.
service and room
Evening meal a little to be desired Limited English spoken
- Nice rooms (business room) of good standard - Quiet atmosphere - Convenient (and free) airport shuttle bus. - It was a really nice surprise to get no-smoking rooms, since smoking is perfectly accepted in most hotels and restaurants in China, like in the West some 20-30 years ago.
- Location is a bit too far away from quality restaurants and shopping. (The 5-floor shopping center, Euromall, which is primarily aimed at well-off Chinese and ex-pats, is more than 2 kms away, but worth a visit. - Pay attention that taxi drivers, rickshaw drivers etc. will invariably have difficulty of finding the hotel, or mistake it for the nearby 'Qinhang International Hotel'. - Although the breakfast buffet is relatively inexpensive, don't bother paying for it, if you prefer continental/English breakfast. Have breakfast at the airport instead. - Although the hotel has 'International' in its name, it almost exclusively services Chinese guests. - There are absolutely no leisure facilities at the hotel, so if you have spare time: go out, or make sure to bring your own entertainment! - Air condition in both our rooms, could not bring the temperature below 25 C - but since it was 30-32 C outside even at night, I suppose we should be thankful for the mediocre effect it did have.
