location and breakfast
size of room very small hotel is getting very old bathroom also very small and not modern
The hotel is really up for renovation. Carpet is really dirty everywhere. Drain in the shower was blocked. There were holes in the bedlinnen.
Very helpful staff
Next to Agricultural Exhibition Centre.
They have built up a discotheque just downsyairs and you can hear the music from your room till late in the night. Impossible to rest.
It is a reasonable hotel. Nothing special, but also not a bad choice. Great staff. All very nice and helpful.
I could listen to the musci of a club donwstaris when I had a room on the 5th floor. Sometimes the internet doesnt work. The area around the hotel is a little boring.
excellent breakfast and restaurant; location near Lufthansa Center interesting rooms
Location very convenient Friendly concierge
Reception staff were appalling - couldn't get anything right. Rooms are becoming a bit shabby and décor outdated.
Super friendly service, really trying to help and professional at that
loud base of a new disco next to hotel. Frequent offering of prostitutes near the entrance (not hotel's fault, but annoying)
- subway station near by and not far from Sanlitun - many restaurants on nearby maizidian street - Good breakfast but expensive (120 rmb) - Good fitness room - fast check-in and check-out - laundry service quick and responsive
- no wifi at room 1010 - first room smelled cigaret but they agreed to change it asap - expensive breakfast - bad sound isolation from street. Fortunately was at the 10th floor
Hotel is old and does not have proper renovation to maintain the usual standard as a first class Hotel. Furthermore, the failure of ventilation system made the room 1519 full of bad smell. Though repeated complaint had been made, no immediate action was taken within the first two hours. Though another two rooms were finally re-arranged at mid-night, these were all smoking rooms instead of non- smoking rooms which we explicitly requested upon booking. The average room temperature was about 24-25 oC which was totally unacceptable.
Good restaurant, next to business towers, very friendly staff and funny old-school footmen to open the door for you
I was offered prostitutes at the entrance of the district. At least, after telling the hotel staff, this guy was gone the next day.
The location was very central to where I needed to be. Close enough to SanLiTun to enjoy the night life and good restaurants.
The room was very basic
I use this very same hotel for more than 8 years when traveling to Beijing. It is still a very good value for money spent. The staff is friendly, the restaurants quite good, clean as possible within the possibilities.
The hotel needs some refurbishment. The staff does a good job, but the facicility is simply getting worn, the carpets being used for 10 years cant be clean even when daily cleaned.
Excellent staff, large number of employees always ready to help, excellent value for money
One day the gym just was locked, without any explanation.
No Wifi in room. What? No Wifi in room... Can not imagine there is a four-star hotel, in downtown Beijing, no wifi in guest rooms...
Filthy carpets. Smelly room. Uncomfortable bed. Mouldy shower.
The reception don´t let feel you very welcome. Even persons are behind the desk, but don´t have time for you. It´s like in a bureau.
All staff speaking good English, very helpful and effective especially receptionist, Bellboys and Housekeeping, wide variety of food and beverages in breakfast, spacious rooms and different outlets.
Very old furniture and fixture, the Wi-Fi and the internet chargeable inside rooms, free in the lobby but very weak signal, you need to wait for long time to get Taxi, not many sofas or chairs in the Lobby so you need to stand to be connected to the internet or wait for long time to request something from reception when your turn is up.
Location to the Agriculture Exhibition Centre. Nearby Airport & Metro Station. Friendly Staff. Compliments to the chefs for great food.
Reservations not responding to my emails. Evergreen Cafe waiting staff tend to forget to check up on you after they brought your food and other waiters pass your empty plates and glasses as if you not there at all. This was during late lunch and I guess during shift change, but still there is room for improvement service wise.
Extremely polite concierge and representative hotel staff. Location perfect for business in the German area of Beijing
Too many foreigners attract all kinds of people you don't want to see when going home, not dangerous but annoying.
Location and overall set up of rooms was quite good.
Unfortunately there is no wireless available in the hotel. The rooms need to be renovated and updated.
It is getting an old hotel.
The Front Desk Manager Mr. Shu has been very helpful.
We have a confirm booking, and specific instruction were provided that the guest would check in late but when they arrive there is NO CLEAN room. The staff still check them in and the guest was standing outside the room waiting for the cleaner to clean the dirty room. This is the professional service you may expect from this hotel. Terrible!
