Great room design and space are enough big, staff really friendly and helpful, very clean hotel, nice stay
lil bit far from mrt, we hv to walk 15 minutes in the cold winter
The bathroom even doesn't have a door
bed the best
some voice in night。not quiet
The Staff in their restaurant are nice. Reception staff was not that great tho but they did make an effort to afterwards.
It was not as clean as it should be.
A different hotel. Good breakfast and friendly staff.
The staff was quite helpful and the rooms were ok. We got free beer and some snacks delivered. Walking distance to the Temple of Heaven.
I expected it to be nearer to the airport but it turned out to be farther than the other hotel we stayed in at the city center(Sanlitun). There's not much to do around. The rooms were ok, but definitely not a 4 stars hotel. The carpets could use some cleaning. Also, as most places we stayed in china there's no separation from the toilet to te room, all glass, no door.
very poor breakfast ask if i could stay 2-3 hour more because of my late flight and they want to charge me extra half day. when i ask them to call me a taxi they wanted extra money...why?
Very friendly staff who could not have been more friendly and helpful. Good hotel map in English and lots of help arranging trips and offering different possibilities. Plus help with taxis etc made the trip full of activities for such a short time.
Not being sure where the metro was in relation to the hotel. Shower could be embarrassing if sharing with somebody that you do not know extremely well.
- staff were very friendly - breakfast was amazing! A lot of choice and eggs were freshly cooked on demand - close to a big supermarket, Temple of Heaven, Pearl Markets and the subway, as well as a cheap little dumpling and soup restaurant just outside the complex - free yoghurt and after dinner treats every night, and one night I got a free beer dropped off :)
- room could have done with a vacuum - wifi was quick but would drop out every so often - booked a tour through the hotel but was not informed of an obligatory minimum 100元 tip to the van driver and tour guide (each). Seemed a little excessive considering the fee for the tour was supposed to cover the transfers... but this may not be the hotel's fault. None of these were really serious problems, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would go there again!
Everything was ok
extremely poor wi-fi
Everything Bout the hotel, and the efforts of the stuff to be helpful.
The stuff docent speak English (Even when they think they do ) It often makes life difficult.
Good breakfast and variate every morning Nicely designed hotel Quiet and safe area Short 10-15m walking-distance from subway
Cold in the rooms - heating doesn't work unless the whole building is turned ON No English-speaking staff "Open" bathroom design
Breakfast is not varied, but it is delicious. Rooms clean. The staff helpful. But the next time I choose a hotel that is not so far from the center of life.
The nearest metro is located within 10-15 minutes walking distance (running until 11 pm!). The neighborhood is boring, especially in the evening there is not anything to do. Across the street from the hotel is the Red Theater, kung fu performances can recommend.
the breadfast staff and the breadfast compare to other china cities/state.
hotel cleanliness very bad (dusty and dirty carpet) no door toilet. Staff service is very lousy and irresponsible. for eg. we call the room service to send us 2 more shampoo and the manager refuse to give as she told us all the room they have distributed enough set of shampoo....(sigh). We stay in the family room, 4 adults and 1 kid (shared bed), they only provide us 1 hair & body shampoo (15 ml) each for each room...do you think is enough?
The location is close to sights in the southern part of the city. But a little bit distanced to the main sights. Staff is very friendly and speak English
The rooms seem not really clean (especially the carpet) and everything is a little bit outdated and run down.
+ Clean room (clean room every day) + some staff at the reception has basic knowledge of english + around 15 minuts walk to subway station Tiantandongmen (line 5) and Temple of Heaven
- Bathroom and toilet is opened to other part of room (without doors, only separated by glass wall) - Wifi connection is good for laptops, but there is difficulties for mobile phones (many securities passwords) - staff at the restaurant speaks no english
Staffs were nice..although they didn't speak much English they were very helpful. Taxis had no difficulties finding the location. Just tell them its near Tian tan gong yuan..
Room cleaness Confortable room
Some front desk staff unpolite. Start to made the check-in and when to explain the deposit just throw the paper and stop talking with me....she refuses to talk and the his boss came to explain Wi-fi is always going down
The worst service ever seen! Very old furniture! Everything is ready for replacement! Breakfast has nothing! The staff lies about their rooms! You have to fight for what you booked! This is absolutely not a 4-star hotel! Maximum one star. You can much better quality elsewhere with the same amount of money!
Wi-Fi was good
Dirty room. The staff was not helpfully, some of them did not even speak English... Asked for late checkout when I booked the room and received email that it's ok and won't extra charge me for that.... When I got there I was told that I have to pay a whole day if I want a late checkout... Next time in Beijing I will choose another hotel....
We liked everthing about the hotel! Breakfast was good, hotel room was clean but the bathroom had no seperation! HBO was great!
Wi-fi was working okay but not good! Location was little bit far from the center! all chinese wifi work poorly!!
The hotel is in a nice position (near the Temple of Heaven and Pearl Market ). The rooms are good and service is also good. Some of the staff speak English (which is generally not common in chinese hotels). Staff is very helpful. Free Wifi is excellent
The cleaning should be improved: Many stains on the carpet. Wardrobe space in rooms very limited.
The staff was okay, rooms are very clean. Location is fair.
Nobody speaks english there, they hold deposite also. I stayed there twice second time i had problem with the shower water backing up, they just kept calling the plumber but the problem never went away. I asked them to change the room but instead they kept sending the plumber. Very disappointing.Don't change any currancy there you will get the lowest exchange.
