Best Western Grandsky Hotel Beijing  

Front office staff bath room light is very dim I had booked this hotel two months back with standard room with window for 4 nights, but when I showed my booking at front office, they said I had booked the hotel only for one day. I have to talk with other people to get the room for 4 days. I never book any hotels in china through booking.com

Close to airport

Could not find shuttle and taxi try to screw you to death on price 30 dollars for 11 minute ride bullshit. Either meet people at gate with sign or make sure directions to find shuttle are easy and clear.

Comfortable rooms, good location

Too cold in the rooms, air-conditioning system did not work in heating mode

Useful for overnight stay if travelling early next morning. Good standard hotel, nice shower, clean and free pick up from/to airport. Hotel difficult to find for taxi therefore arrange pick up with hotel. It's bit far out and opposite crown plaza

Too far for tourism purpose. If u have a late flight worth staying in city centre and getting train to airport which only takes 25 minutes direct to terminal 1,2 & ,3.

It is a bit isolated but as I was using the hotel whilst in transit, this did not bother me.

It is close to the Exhibition center and much cheaper than the Crown Plaza hotel what is very close to this hotel. For sleeping and a simple breakfast it is okay. A shopping is about 1km from the hotel and on the upperside of the exhibitionhalls.

The single rooms are very small compared to the double rooms. So never take the single room. This is a Chinese hotel however it is a best Western hotel. If you expect any Western food or others please forget it. No shops or anything at walkingdistance. Except the manager the employees were not very friendly.

The hotel is about 15 min from International Airport, quiet.

The room was comfortable, clean, and had everything I needed for my overnight stay.

The only difficulty I had was in booking my reservation with Booking.com I left instructions for the hotel to contact me by email to confirm that they had my flight arrival information, and that someone would be at the Beijing Capital airport to pick me up upon arrival as part of their free airport shuttle service. I received no response so I finally called Booking.com and they contacted the hotel and confirmed that they had my information and someone would be there to pick me up. That proved to be exactly what happened; in fact someone was waiting holding a sign with my name on it. I would highly recommend the hotel and will certainly book it again in the future. The hotel was about a 15 minute drive from the airport.

Probably nothing,maybe its location,close to airport,but it was not shuttle bus to/from airport,and it was very difficult to take taxi from airport to the hotel,and when I asked taxi to airport,they said there is no taxi,but they can offer other car,which is 2-3 times more expensive.

Everything.The refrigerator was not working,the a/c was not working properly,the breakfast was poor,when I asked ashtray,they brought used and dirty one,they did not change soap for 3 days I stayed there. It was one of my worst experiences during last 6 years.

Good location, not far from the airport but quiet, no noise from the airplanes or cars. Nice rooms in modern style, whole wall window, transparent glass shower wall, comfortable bathroom with all necessary accessories, large TV and fast internet. Big restaurant with wide menu, delicious chinese cooking with delivery into the room. Quite friendly and helpfull personnel. Not high price for such quality services. Will stay there next time.

Didn't arrange transfer from the Terminal 3 after 11 p.m. but taxy charged about only 30 CHY.

Staff generally had no English. Although claiming to cater to international clients, no western food, no access to public transport. Would never stay there again.

We liked the location and the room was fairly nice.

For English/speaking people it would be our last recommendation where to stay in Bejing. The staff spoke very poor English. We had ordered the airport shuttle to catch our flight the next morning and the next morning they told that they had never heard of it, neither the shuttle was available. Then we wanted to buy a cup of coffee instead of the ordinary breakfast and they tried to charge us 42 CHY per cup while the whole breakfast menu was available for 48 CHY! The worst possible service quality you could get.

The air condit5ion in my room was not operating well. Very uncomfrotable to sleep with warm room.

perfect location near the new exebition center , fast and easy transport to and from the airport , good value for the room price , a bit small room size ( if you are travelling with family )

It is closed to the exhition center, you just have to walk 10 minutes

Absolutely dirty I mean very dusty there is some place in room that you don't even want to look at because they are so dirty bad break fast, very noisy, very hot you have absolutely nothing to do there unless you need to reach the exhibition center by feet I think it is much better to go to Days Hotel Beijing New Exhibition Centre that is close to the airport and set up something with a taxi

Typical transit hotel near airport but with bad service. Small rooms. No internet in rooms! No shuttlebus in the morning! Staff speaks hardly English.

i ristoranti che dovevano esserci e la spa erano chiusi per lavori. personale parla malissimo inglese. Mi volevano far pagare due volte la camera. Ho litigato per 20 minuti. Non mi hanno dato ricevuta per pagamento extra. L'aspetto ancora. Aria condizionata fissa a 23.5 con piumone sul letto. Non si può cambiare temperatura del condizionatore.

Kamer was klein maar functioneel. Gratis shuttle naar de luchthaven, wel even van te voren melde dat je met de shuttle wilt. Het hotel is schoon en lokatie is geweldig als je moet vliegen.

Er is geen wifi op de kamer. En zoals in bijna alle hotels in China doet de airco het wel, maar geeft 's avonds geen koude lucht meer, maar verplaatst alleen lucht. Dit heeft met het systeem van het hotel te maken. Zouden een wake-up call geven, die is nooit gekomen. Toch zou ik hier weer verblijven.
