Capital Airport Hotel  

This is an old fashioned government-owned hotel that takes you back to the 70s. Convenient for a quick overnight stop-over. reliable shuttle service, literally 5' from the airport terminal.

Well I wouldn't stay longer than just a quick night, it may be a bit too old-school for me... Access from the airport doesn't seem to be easy, even after our Chinese driver talked to the hotel staff.

Staff was extremely friendly, though didn't speak English almost, but did their best to help with ordering taxi to the Great Wall and back and finding a good driver in short period of time. Hotel is pretty cheap and very close to the airport, good for long connection overnight. Beds were clean.

Bath was poor cleaned, furniture is old and beds are not very comfortable.

Receptionist very rude service. Eventhought I had request for airport transfer but no body stand by to pick up, we need to called hotel reception then only they send bus.

Very good facilities in the room - everything is present. Good location: pedestrian access from T2 terminal. An optimal place to sleep a night in the middle of a long flight (Moscow-Sydney)

My concern is not related to hotel itself. Read carefully direction for pedestrian access: the hotel is close to S12 highway, but if your on the other side of the highway then there is no possibility to cross the highway other than climbing over three high (2m) fences. The only possibility to cross the S12 highway is to return back to terminal T2.

Distance to the airport

They switch off the airco at midnight!! The internet access gave problems and IT people have to set a fixed IP in guests PC's to make it work Minibar was empty

The proximity to airport. Simplicity (no fuss). Shuttle service. Convenience. At the end of a business trip, when you are hanging out to get home and you have an early morning flight, this is the place to stay. Not five star, or even four, but super convenient and comfortable.

A little isolated Air Conditioning was not switched on in the hotel, so room was a little too warm for me but in China they don't usually activate airconditioning until it gets hot.

location was excellent for airport. Shuttle bus added bonus as it was free.

door to room needed some repairs. No english speaking news channel on tv. Got 4a.m. wake up call which wasn't requested. shower door needed repairs

The hotel is close to the airport.

The shuttle bus did not arrive to the airport although we have called to the hotel and the staff promised to pick us up. There were a lot of mosquitoes in the room.

Hard bed, far from airport, no free hotel shuttle after 23:00 hrs, air conditioning did not work, only slept 1 or 2 hrs

Very close to the airport, good shuttle bus service, very quiet !! (I thought the air-traffic will be disturbing during the night)

There was a little confusion at check-in. The shuttle bus delivered 3 of us at the same time (as a shuttle bus do...) and the receptionist thought we are all together, it took a while to explain that that's not the case...

On time free airport transfer after midnight for new arrival.

The room a bit cold on 18/4/2013.No heater in sight.

Convenient location close to Beijing Airport. In general, good value for money

Decor, stuck in the 80's, when it was built. The hotel could use some more maintenance, too. I would recommend it, with reservations.

beds were hard... but all beds in china are hard.

The bed was so hard you may as well have slept on a piece of wood. The room was so noisy with traffic all night. Not good window insulation.

There was some difficulty with finding the booking - Hyphenated names confuse the Chinese mind.

the Baozi were cold, but I was late for breakfast - glad to have something as it was after the hours listed. . .

Location and ease of getting to and from the airport

Not my first stay, and we will return - Airing the room would not hurt -- Their prime market is the native population, so we need out weak Chinese to manage the front desk .. ..

Good location to the airport!

There is no any shop at all. If you have the late flight, please take into account that there is no place to buy some eating products. There is a bar in the hotel, but the prices are huge and the meal is not healthy!!!

I've stayed many times because of it's closeness to the Beijing airport. The English speaking staff is quite good at handling reservations in a very polite and efficient manner. I appreciate that there is no longer a deposit for the room key making check-out much quicker for an early morning flight. The shuttle bus service is also reliable.

It would be nice to see some modern upgrades to the hotel as it seems it hasn't changed much in many years.

Staff was accommodating but aloof. Absolutely no English in hotel or restaurant. Easy shuttle access to and from airport. Shuttle was waiting for us at airport and on time to pick up in the morning. Drop off at each terminal.
