The hotel staff were very helpful. It really helped that everyone, from the room cleaners to the reception, spoke fairly good English. The swimming pool and the gym were very good as well. The hotel is located in the city centre and is close to a metro station.

The breakfast is too expensive. The cleaner and some waitress are not trained very well. The reception is helpless and try to charge double fee when you want to extend for one night. The internet is not free, only if you register as the club member (waste of time and force you to join the club).

Great hotel in a good location! The staff were efficient and friendly and the rooms were spacious and very comfortable including the bathroom. Would definitely stay again! Wifi was available in the foyer, not in the rooms and was charged on an hourly or 24 hr basis, and was quite expensive. We also asked to check out one hour later but were told that the hotel was too busy! Apart from that we enjoyed our stay!

Over all the hotel is good, the staff is very warm and very helpful also. It is very near to the forbidden city, tian an men square, wang fu jing, and train station. And we were very happy that we got the room in the early morning when we reached there in stead of waiting till 12noon. Very good. But the restaurant is little un-tidy, due to the peak hour, the staff didn't clean the table on time and it is not convienence to the people of the next sitting.

We enjoyed our stay very much, room very clean, internet worked well, the breakfast buffett was excellent as was the evening buffett.Tianamen Square was a pleasant walk about 20 minutes and you could also walk to the Forbidden City but taxi,s are so cheap if you are not inclined. We ate once up top on the 20th floor Italian food expensive and not really very Italian.Nice view but do not recomend it.We stayed in the section called the Capital Club with lots extras included such as high tea and appetisers from 5-to 7 one beer or cocktail each included no 15% tax on anything purchased in the hotel ,restaurants,or bars. Also exclusive use for the swimming pool, saunas, excercise room bowling alley etc. Also you where allowed 2 drinks per day from the mina bar no charge. All these extras do add up and make the extra room charge more than worth it especially if you are staying more than 3 nights. We would definitely stay here again and hope to return to Beijing soon.

the location is fair. Treatment by reception staff was not good. Check in took 40 mins, Staff member at the 'Information' desk could not give us any information on buses, subeays, trains etc. Staff were abrupt and rude. Treatment by reception staff was not good. Check in took 40 mins, Staff member at the 'Information' desk could not give us any information on buses, subways, trains etc. Staff were abrupt and rude. My partner got food poisoning from the restaurant that was also totally overpriced. did not recieve any assitance from the concierge on arriaval or departure of the hotel. Also, I booked a double room but got a twin room. beds were uncomfortable. I would not recommend this hotel. Totally overpriced and terrible staff.

Pretty good location - close to the biggest sq. (Forfbidden City, etc,) and to their famous shopping Str. (Wanfudzin? forgot the name). On the cross-road to the left of the hotel (near big Department Store) - "massage from blind men". Great! And very cheap. The pool is free for the hotel guests. Good air condition (otherwise we would die - such terrible hot weather was in Beiging in the end of July). In general - very good impression of this hotel - big, nice, comfortable. The pool is closed at 23.00, so we often we were late to visit it. And the water wa too warm in it (for myself! for my ferinds it was ok))). Terrible prices in their night restaurant...

The staff was friendly and the rooms are clean. There is a desk where you can book guided tours to the Great Wall and other places in Beijing. The beds were hard and not very comfortable. We had an extra bed in our room and the room was very small so it was a bit tight. For that we had to pay 300 rmb per night which felt a bit expensive since the breakfast was not included in the price. The hotel charge 100 rmb per day for internet connection in the room.

Location Dated bathrooms and soiled carpet throughout room. Poor and expensive internet service. No WiFi. Have stayed at hotel before, would not stay again, would recommend staying elsewhere, for the price and location, better hotels in the area for the same price range

The location is about the only things going for the hotel. In-room safe functioned as expected. Carpets are 40 years old. My whole floor (non-smoking floor) smelled bad. Hair dryer is from 1970'S. Shower flooded multiple times all over bathroom....complaints to management went unanswered. Coffee is equivalent to 7$ ea because "it's five star hotel". Moldy/dirty shower- mat was taken out of the garbage and replaced on the shower floor 3 days in a row. (Putting something in garbage means it's garbage especially if you cover it with used Kleenex). Windows don't open so you are stuck with moldy stale smell of room/floor. Bed was as hard as a wooden plank (they did put some extra blankets down which made it mildly better) but every time I turned on my side during my sleep I'd wake up with a numb shoulder/arm. Two stars is very generous!!

Felt very impersonal. Everything expensive - from room service to trips. For a 4/5 star hotel this was not very impressive. Facilities ok but I was surprised that you could only use the computers in the business centre for 5 free minutes - thereafter you pay 2y for every minute. Ok, they have free internet access in the rooms, but if you havent brought a laptop with you - too bad. This is not a hotel for sight-seers and leisure travellers - much too business orientated, which is fine if that is what you are looking for.

Closer to all interesting places in Beijing - and very central location.Interms of value for money - it is an excellent place to stay .Staff is very suuportive and co-operative .Above all it a clean place and good spread of breakfast. It is too quiet a place - and those who love private time - it is an excellent place to stay.

Location was quite good being near the railway station and attractions like TianAnMen and WangFuJing. No free wifi, actual hotel was not as well maintained as depicted in the pictures. Check out at 6am was a big turnoff with a long line of customers waiting to check out and only one lady processing. When asked to open more counters, the response was that there is only one check-out personnel on shift at that time.

The location was great and the hotel common areas are really nice. The price was a good value. We stayed in tower two facing the busy street. It was really loud - our friends stayed in tower one facing the Forbidden City - the price was the same... Our ac did not work and we couldn't open the window because of the noice. We asked if maintenance could check on it but nothing was ever done. We slept in a sauna every night.

Good location near tian'anmen square and large clean rooms The restaurants and bars are super expensive compared to other restaurants and the quality of the food is very poor. Especially the Italian on the top floor was super disappointing. Ther rooms are alright but the whole package is very disappointing and the hotel doesn't have a nice atmosphere.

We liked the location of the hospital and the quality of the hotel room. The Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, metro station were quite nearby walking distance 10 minutes. Also Qianmen square, where all tour buses depart to the Great Wall was closeby. Even though it is a nice 4-star hotel, breakfast was not too well, so we were happy with the bakery down the street. Good hotel for a 4 to 5 day stay! I did not like the possibilities the breakfast offered, quite narrow. Also in these days it is outdated to ask 20 RMB per hour for internet usage.
