Crowne Plaza Chengdu is opposite the famous “Chun Xi Lu” shopping street and dining area. It features an indoor heated pool, spa and 4 dining options. Rooms have free internet access. Crowne Plaza Chengdu is located within a 10-minute stroll from the Times Plaza, Central Plaza, City Tower and Chuan Xin Mansion. It is a 5-minute drive from Tianfu Square, 20-minute drive from North or East Railway Station. Shuangliu International Airport is a 40-minute car journey away. Tastefully decorated, each elegant room has a cable TV, minibar and a coffee/tea maker. A private bathroom with bathtub is attached in all rooms. Additionally, the hotel provides non-smoking floors and rooms, as well as specially designed rooms for disabled guests. Surrounded by good restaurants, good shopping. Sights were a distance away from hotel. Taxis cheap therefore highly recommend using. Even though this hotel is 5 star, was very surprised to find at breakfast when ordering tea, I received Lipton tea. Suggested to manager to serve Chinese Tea. Afterall we are in China. Also some food items that should of been hot were actually luke warm. Otherwise our stay was good Despite no smoking signs. Some guest still disobeyed. Management did ask them to go outside. I think this is going to take time in China to get through to Non Smoking in hotels & restaurants.

The staff were attentive both at reception and concierge, and in the hotel club floor. The hotel perhaps could do with a little updating in the common areas, and the club lounge, rooms were however lovely.

è carina solo la hall e la sala colazione perchè sembra grande e moderno L'albergo è vecchio la struttura di alcune camere fatiscente il fitness e la piscina sono terribili sporchi vecchi e c'è un odore tremendo di umido la qualità del cibo è di bassissimo livello

Not so old hotel, but still you get old-fashioned feeling in the rooms. Not up to latest hotel standards in this price class.
