Bath and spa need to have a explaination English language in the visitor publications in the guest rooms so that these facilities can be fully used

Very smart hotel; beautiful communal areas. Good location, good facilities.

Breakfast located on 7th floor, but lift only went to floor 6! Took us a while for us to find out how to reach the dining room as we had difficulty communicating. Good range of food was served for breakfast (in chafing dishes) but was cold each time we ate there, sadly.

Its was just 298 yuan and gave an excellent breakfast. In fact I had booked two nights at Skytel Xian but cancelled one night after enjoying the breakfast.

Nothing ..its was fine given the rate.

Room was spacious, clean and appointed with modern features.Located within walking distance of the underground railway and close to restaurants at budget prices.The hotel restaurant caters for European tastes, particularly breakfast. Staff always helpful, limited English skills.

Smoking in the hotel was evident unfortunately.

A good old school room, all the essentials to hand. They even presented me with a plate of fruit and vegetables on my first day. The location is top. Just a few mins walk from the Metro from where you can get the subway up to the Xian North Train station, for fast trains to all around China. It's also just a few minutes walk to the Drum & Bell towers and the great Muslim quarter.

Requested for non smoke but got smoke finally and can't be changed. My confirmation was with ABF but hotel said room only. I had to argue for my right. Booking .com should issue confirmation in English only not in Thai

Many of the staff were very helpful and friendly, and one could not help but feel sorry for them.

Stated that the rooms had satelite tv and did not. A mini bar without a fridge, say what? The toilets were blocked, the shower needed to run for a period to get warm water, the view was horrible, in fact there was no view, On entry you could smell a cigarette scent mixed with dust, and the stated personal safe was carried in by a female staff member and sat inside the wardrobe when requested.THE PLACE WAS TERRIBLE. Outside the streets were revolting and smog so bad you could not see the sky, but still it was beter than inside the hotel room!!

The hotel offers the ability to hire a driver for the day to take you to tourist sites such as the Terracotta Soldier Museum.

Even though we asked for a non-smoker room we were given a smoker room and unfortunately the windows could not be opened to air the room a little. You can tell that the hotel is rather old, the wallpaper comes off in places, there were stains on the walls and the shower had seen better days.

Great hotel. Check in was easy. I was worried that I arrived to early to check in, but I didn't have any problem. The staff was very friendly even though there English was an issue at times. I was pleasantly surprise that when I returned to my room on the evening of my first night, I had a thank you for choosing this hotel note with a complimentary platter of fresh fruit.

The hotel was excellent. The receptionist quickly corrected the error regarding the type of room that we had booked and we enjoyed a very pleasant room. It was well maintained, very clean - every day, well appointed and comfortable. The staff were very helpful - a maintenance man helped us with loose screws on our suitcase, the service staff were always friendly and nothing was a problem. The receptionist and check out staff also very helpful. The dailly breakfast bufet was an excellent range of Chinese and Western food. The hotel had free wifi Internet on tow floors but the strength of the signal varied. The hotel location was excellent as it was right beside the main shopping street and the Muslum quarter.
