Well sited for my purposes

Staff are friendly and most of them speak multi-languages.

something dirty was on the bath mat. Luckily I did not touch.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Room is clean. Hotel location convenient.

Stayed in the month of April. Winter is over Spring arriving. Weather still kind of cooling. But Hotel air condition system still in shut off condition. Even though room's air condition adjusted to coolest, still very warm. The air condition system can be chose to adjust to heat, off and cool type. It doesn't make sense why hotel have to shut down its air condition system as customer can adjust its temperature or heater. Room window has to be open, noisy. But if not so, room very warm. Slept with body sweating. I don't mean to be fussy but my Partner commented the same.

This is close to the JinAn temple and subway, so transpotation is very comfotable. the room is clean.

mattress is not good.(the spring feel bad.)

Very good staff. Caring and understanding. Extremely efficient yet with a human personal touch. For example the chef gave me a selection of small cakes totally free as I ate his Nasi Goreng. Just very friendly. And very helpful on reception and the concierge showed me everything about my appts locations. Excellent value and 10 star service.

The smoking areas. I dislike smoking but I understand it's part of Chinese culture.

Location and cleanliness

The noise coming from the highway, the spotted carpet in the room, the water of the pool which was a little too cold, the buffet of breakfast that don't have fresh fruit juice, yagourt was not very good, had no pancakes or waffles and had to wait for cleaned cups and fresh fruit.

There is no wifi.

The beds were very good, staff was inviting and caring, the location is very central. Good value for money!

We were fortunate to book into their Club Equator which provided complimentary afternoon and evening drinks and savouries. Their American buffet breakfast was comprehensive. My wife even had salmon on her poached eggs. The staff were keen to please and there was a late 4.30 pm check out on the final day of our stay. We particularly liked the close proximity ((via overpass) of the metro Jing'an Temple which provided straight trough access to Peoples Square, Nanjing Road, The Bund etc on Line 2 and to the Maglev and Pudong International Airport

One staff member was overkeen to help but sent us off to the wrong Shanghai Acrobatic troop. However there was a happy ending and we can endorse the New Shanghai Circus and Shanghai Magic Troupe at 308 South ChongOng Road who provided possible the most memorable night of our theatre going lives. Fantastic

I have stayed there many times over the last 10 years and feel very at home and comfortable. It is a high quality hotel with high standards of service and very helpful, attentive and profesional staff. I also feel very comfortable in the lounge bar having a drink by myself in the evening. I look forward to visiting again very soon.
