The staffs were friendly and helpful. It makes the stay very comfortable.

Overall ambiance is very good.

Bed room furniture beautiful especially the bed comfortable & bathroom & towel v clean.

The hotel has a high level of comfort. The beds are nice and soft, there are slippers & bathrobes and the breakfast is quite diverse.

The breakfast is a bit pricey and the staff could be friendlier.

A very good hotel, well located, good facilities and good value for money

The staff were very helpful and showed flexiubility. This is my 5th time at this hotel and its very consistent. The location is superb for both business, shopping and sightseeing. The taxi guide is very helpful as you can just show your location to the driver. And also show him the hotel address for the return.

This is my 2nd stay within the week. Adore it's great location (about 5 mins walking distance to Jing'an mrt station, located in city center), value for money and free wifi in the room.

Hotel's reservation procedure can be improved to take into consideration bookings made during the weekend. As this 2nd stay was booked rather last minute (booked on Friday for stay on following Monday), my reservation was not captured in hotel's system. As a result, there's a delay during check-in in the evening, and it's certainly not welcoming after an exhaustive journey prior to check-in.

Great location, value for money, free wifi available in room (very important!)

Front desk staff service can be better and knowledge can be improved. For E.g, I booked a room with non-refundable rate and the room charges have already been charged to my credit card. When checked in, I asked for an invoice, I was told that my room has been paid and the invoice has already been given to the person who paid which in actual fact it was paid by my own credit card and I did not receive any invoice or receipt at all! The guy who checked me in then told me I could get my invoice after I checked out, which in the end when I checked out, I have to ask several time for it as I insisted that I did not get it and it was paid by my card. This lack of knowledge in Front Office procedure is certainly not welcoming for business travellers who need an invoice for the paid accommodation.

I've been staying here for 12 years and it's my favourite hotel in shanghai. I'm sure there are more luxurious but this is in a great area for eating and drinking. Rooms are big and clean and they are generous with upgrades. Just don't ever expect them to remember you've been before!

Slow staff when serving in restaurant

The location was excellent, as well as the low rate for the one night I stayed there.

Clean and nice hotel.staff speaks english which is good.

Its location is good.

The staff does not speak proper English and do not try to help customers. So you feel strangled in the hotel and also out (of course) if Chinese is not your mother tongue.

The hotel is well located at a 5 min waking distance from the metro Line 2. The rooms are quiet and clean and well maintained.

There was not a very large selection of western food at the restaurant

The location is very close to my business venue and the Metro. Great accessibility to other areas of Shanghai.

It is inconvenient to access the hotel with a heavy luggage because you need to climb some stairs. The escalators at the overhead bridge leading to the hotel are only upward riding and they will be shut down in the evening. There is no free WIFI in the guest room.

Good central location.

No Wifi in the rooms.

A very good modern hotel with a reasonable rate and all desired facilities. The breakfast buffet is also good and suits any taste: European or Asian, with a variety of fresh fruit. The hotel's gym is not big but enough for sound fitness. City sightseengs are within reach by taxi (not expensive in Chine).

Only one restaurant was working (except lounge bar). Smoking is allowed in restaurant.

It was cheap.

The hotel is in need of sprucing. It is looking very old these days.
