Bed, location to the station.

I had to put down 1000rmb deposit when arrived which was not mentioned on booking.com the room wasnt ready after 7 hours even though I had booked weeks in advance. The facilities were all closed, the bars, club and salon. There was nothing available from the original description

Clean room with all facilities incl complete stationary kit and very fast free Wifi ,next to station and can reach any place

The way the bell boys ask for tips was digusting, it is not that one doesnt want to pay, but to demand the tip and only will unload the luggage is not done

We stayed at 11 floor, rooms has big windows , overlooking beautiful view and nice Lake , Hong Kong borders

Far Away from city center

Good location, about 300 meters from Lowu station, direct train from Hong Kong (45mns). Large room, prefer the river side. Good internet connexion + wifi. Two massage centers (prefer the 8° floor) to get relax after long flight or long business trip day.

Old hotel, need to renew the carpets in the rooms, faucets and plumbing old who needs to be replaced/updated.

I like the lobby, restaurant and location

I didn't like room, very narrow, very old, bad bathroom, very old equipment in the fitness center

Location the only thing why the hotel still survive

Good location / opposite the train station. On a whole a clean, well maintained hotel with good staff.

Bathroom and fixtures are old. And not as per a modern 5star, but all of them in good working condition.

The location is good.

The hotel is quite old and the rooms needs maintaince. The breakfast is very bad and they dont have vegetarian food. The staff is also not cooperative. the only option they provide is tea and cut fruit for vegetarian. This was the last stay and I will never stay in this hotel again, nor will recommend to anybody vegetarian.

The location for lohu station/border crossing is very good. Staff are friendly and helpful. Book well in advance, and this hotel can be value for money.

The hotel is a bit tired and in need of a little care and attention. It now looks and feels dated, it's heyday being the 70's /80's.

Hotel location is great

It needs a good clean up and better care for the furniture. It looks really old and dusty

LoWu port nearby location

Excellent value for money! Good lobby bar, very helpful and accommodating staff Good sized room - had a suite for a fraction of the price you might expect. Access is great and close to Lo Wu boarder crossing / train station to Hong Kong - very near to main shopping and plenty of restaurants in the locality. The foyer restaurant where you have breakfast is very good for a Western Traveller and offers a good selection.

The bed was a bit hard but they all tend to be in china as I have experienced anyway!!

Proximity to rail & shopping.

Some aspects of the room needed repair but were still functional.

The reception manager Eric Lee. He is very professional and he understands my every need.

Noise level. The rooms are not well insulated. We can hear voices and their activities next door. And the noise and talking from the corridor are very loud as well.

Location near Railway Station. Interiors.

for 5 stars hotel I would expected to the the use of WI-FI in room also Hotel needs to be refurbish as it all a bit old, food is of poor quality and expensive

Location -- near to Lohu and convinient to go to HKG airport direct BUS available from Hotel.

This hotel is certainly value for money with great location. I have read previous review that it is rather old for its status. However, I rather like the design myself.

I think the company need to make clear the need for a cash deposit before booking as not many people carry large sum of cash especially in this district. I understand that from my local friends this is almost always the case with local five stars hotel, however this is not consistent with other best western hotels in the world and certainly I have noway of guessing this need. In my case I have not had enough of local currency as I was just passing the country to Hong Kong. This was sorted out by using my home currency(uk pounds) which I think was fair.

The location of the hotel close to the railroad station and border crossing to hk is a big plus, beside that there is nothing worth mentioning

Hotel staff unhelpfull, all they do is stare at you with a stern face. Some of my friends visiting me report that they have been harassed by the hotel staffs. Horrible place , keep away

I arrived in to the hotel on foot from the shenzhen train station were the entrance is next to the hotel. I was checked in within 2 min and in my room by 5min. The room was clean bath and shower all the plug sockets wifi etc. my bed was comfatable and my towels were fluffy this was a good choice.

They had a bar which I went to have a beer as I had been traveling for 24 hrs and they did not sell any draft beers also I was told the bar was open till 1pm it closed before I had finished my beer at around 12:20 and although there were a number drinking they turned all the lights out???
