The staff were friendly and welcoming and willing to assit with any problems we had. In addition the rooms were exquisite and had a really special touch to them. Breakfast could be slightly more varied but what they had was excellent. |

The attention to detail in presenting a well designed art deco hotel with excellent representation of the 30's period in Shanghai was most welcomed. Attentive staff and courteous service complemented the visit and the unusual and striking interior design of the suites was a wonderful surprise and a great experience and in strong contrast to many standard hotel offerings. I would highly recommend Gallery Suites. |

Very nice hotel, great space. Much larger than average sized hotel rooms and beautifully decorated. Bathrooms are great. lovely people running hotel and nice breakfast. I had to leave earlier than planned and they were wonderful. I'll come back again. |

Staff was friendly. Room was very clean and spacious Noisy. Main traffic outside the hotel was a turn off. Stayed at Floor 7, but was disturbed by the traffic outside and not able to sleep in peace whole night. For light sleepers, i would not recommend the hotel |

I did not llike the entrance of the hotel. The room kind of dark, not enough light to work with the computer. The breakfast service is terrible. The breakfast menus are fixed, the breakfast staff is not polite, very rigid about what is on the menu and about the time. You do not get even a coffee if you arrive one minute later than the established breakfast time. I would not return to this hotel. |

the suite was fantastic and tastefully decorated. It was a pleasant stroll through tree lined streets to some great shopping. The hotel has history and its soul remains intact through the fine workmanship and detailed restoration. |

the bed was extremely comfortable. loved the design of the bathroom. loved the fact that the hotel is very intimate and small and had a very classic 50's feel. the breakfast is horrible. the green paint on the walls does not go well with the decor and theme of the hotel. a earthy colour would be perfect. |

We spent 4 nights in this amazing boutique hotel. We were given very special attention and the staff was so kind that we just felt like we were home. The very personalized service we received was an absolute highlight. The rooms were great as well, very spacious, all different (we got the chance to visit them), nicely decorated and very "design". The Molton Brown amenities were a plus. I would recommend this hotel to everyone - my friends, familiy, and colleagues. |

great rooms large size with plenty of art deco character No satellite tv channels in English terrible breakfast and even though i changed rooms twice I could not find a room with both the internet and outside phone line working |
