Bellissimo hotel. I letti veramente confortevoli, personale efficientissimo. Posizione ottimale

la colazione è abbondante ma carissima, la piscina al 30° piano è spettacolare, il centro massaggi troppo caro, i ristoranti hanno un buon rapporto qualità/prezzo e la posizione del hotel è veramente strategica;

la cauzione sulla camera è sprpositata, se avte un limite sulla carta di credito organizzatevi prima!

Location is great. 5 minutes walk from Pearl Tower, Aquarium and metro station. Lot's of shopping centeres nearby. River is right next to the hotel. Rooms are very big, not noisy.

i like the room. I stayed there twice. and the first time i stayed, the room was very spacious. However, the second time i stayed the room was a bit small. I especially love the huge bathroom.

The first time i stayed there was fine, but the second time is kinda dissapointed. Firstly, i stayed in a room with no slippers, but thats fine, i just made a call, but the staff was a bit difficult to understand english and when she sent the slippers, she knocked the door so hard which was impolite in my opinion. And when the room was being cleaned, it was not clean at all. big dissapointment.

Location and views from the rooms. Choice of three restaurants (Chinese, Italian and Spanish) in the hotel was convenient.

The internet could have been a bit faster

Class a hotel with beautiful decor and architecture. Top notch quality in confort, breakfast, facilities, bed, shower, tv, amenities etc. If you find a good price this is the place to experience a truely five-star.

Beware of the overcharged extras as it is common in five star hotels. Expecially if you got a promotion on the room rates you may be surprised with the final bill if you don`t look the extras.

An excellent hotel especially if you stay at the “ red floor” which is the executive floor. The staff are very helpful, the lounge at level 28 is excellent location for the breakfast and happy hour! Sam, jenny, and Paul and the very nice and pretty lady and the very nice old chef at the breakfast buffet have done extremely good job in accommodating requests.

In the down side, the hotel used my card to charge 1000 rmb after I reached home, even though I paid all charges at check out, I am still working with the hotel to know why?

Fabulous exercise equipment, spa and pool with amazing views. Beautifully designed lobby and guest rooms. Very convenient to Metro and attractions. Expensive, but many amenities included in the fee, such as free wi fi in your room. Would recommend some sort of light breakfast (coffee, fruit and rolls to be included and that might add value). Very friendly and helpful staff.

Expense. But it seems to be justified in view of the luxurious atmosphere and amenities. Adding a minimal continental breakfast buffet would help tourists feel better about the cost.

It was sheer luxury. The reception area was breathtaking, the location was excellent, the rooms fabulous. I loved the whole experience

The hotel was very very expensive. 250 yuan for breakfast per person so for a family of four that's 1000 yuan, the bar prices were eye watering too 330 yuan for 2 gin and tonics, a beer and an oj. Due to these very high prices, we didn't use the restaurant or any of the facilities (spa, beautician,etc) which was a shame as we would love to have had a family meal together.

The hotel is new and have very good location. The hotel is very clean and the service is very good. I like it and I will come back for sure.

the interiors and design is too creative you could spend hours appreciating it , price needs to be lower as they do not have proper occupancy the location is very good , also if they can train staff customer service could be improved anyway i enjoy shanghai in general

Hotel was excellent. Great views of the bund and city skyline from the bedrooms and excellent location.

I enjoyed my stay at Gran Melia. The location was ideal for business trips North and South of Shanghai. However the Shanghai traffic is very busy. The room was extremely comfortable. On my spare days I did tour a little. The Bund, The Shanghai highest building and aquarium are all within walking distance. Everything else is a relatively short and cheap taxi trip. The market at the Shanghai Technical Museum is worth a visit as is the electrical mall. Stand firm on the price you want to pay and be prepared to walk away.

Unfortunately the high cost of food. But next to hotel several restaurants and and the price is much less

Hotel is super modern and very new. The hotel bar on the 30th floor offers great view of the Bund and the pearl as well as the world financial center. I have stayed at the hotel many times and is my top recommendation for anybody travelling to shanghai.

I am not a fan of the breakfast buffet which is big but also quite expensive. Instead I prefer to pick up my breakfast at Costa which is literally next doors.
