Guangzhou New Century Hotel  

I liked the fact that there was a shuttle service atleast from the hotel to and fro from canton fair.

First of all the pictures we see are of their macau property, hence are very misleading. There is a distinct and strong smell of cigarette smoke and chinese food embedded in all the rooms and corridors. The hotel certainly shows its age as the carpets and furniture desperately need to be changed. The fitness center is a joke, did not get to see the pool as I was told it only opens in May. Took forever to check-in as the front desk staff does not speak english at all (I did reach there 2.30 in the morning) I got swindled into paying 350.00 CNY for the cab ride to the hotel from the airport which otherwise should have been 70.00-80.00 CNY... courtesy the doorman who confirmed it costs 350.00 CNY after exchanging a few chinese wrds with the cab driver. Thereafter I was compelled to lock all my belongings in my suitcase throughout the stay whenever leaving and carrying all valuables with me everywhere I went. There was no arrangement for coffee in the room. There was no continental food option in the hotel. I was there for the canton fair and preferred to be back in the hotel only when I was dead tired to sleep. Extremely far from city centre.

Close to Airport with Bus service next to hotel.

Room was in need of some repair and refresh.

It was a mistake to book this Hotel. Because, the hotel was too far away from metro. Beside, the surround hotel like in the rural nothing else. The carpet look like not been washing for year. The ceiling decor was falling down.

No English speaking poor comenaction

Good as a Transit Hotel being 30 min away from Airport.

Staff was confused! They didnt seem to have my booking and after reluctance agreed to give me the Room. Beds were hard like a Rock, Pillows high like a Mountain.. Got a sprain in my neck. A/c did not work.. Had a sleepless night. Will not repeat this mistake. Best avoided !

The rooms are clean and the cleaning service is great.

The hotel is very far from Guangzhou City.

The hotel stuff doesnt speak english so well, so you will face difficulty in dealing with them in other issues exept normal

Very good location... It is close to local eatery.. The room is much better than the one I stayed in Jan... Super!

No--Only a brief stay

Near the hotel there is a bus stop for Airport which is convenient to go to the airport.

During Canton Fair, the hotel didn't provide Free Shuttle Bus service to the exhibition. There is the ticket charge from-to Canton Fair. The location is not in the city center and difficult to travel around. Furthermore the information about the transportation was wrong, they mentioned that the hotel near to Guangzhou North Railway, however the Guangzhou North Railway not yet finish, It will be ready around 2 years.

Sitive points: Big reception area, minimum one English speaking staff in reception, clean, big and safe rooms, free Internet.

I don't recommend this hotel just because bad location. The Hotel is located in a big district in north of Guangzhou, called Haudu. This district is near to Airport but very far away from city. There is no transport to the city unless Taxi (more than 120 rmb, if you are lucky). Other way is taking taxi to airport or one of Metro stations (Renhe) and continue with Metro. Both of them will take minimum 1 hour.

In your booking site you mentioned the hotel with swimming pool, sauna bath and massages also, but in hotel the pool was closed from a long time and no sauna and massage please write these things only after confirming becuase always we fully faith on booking.com and when not get get dipressed

A szállodába nincs egy kanapé de semmi sem,az étterembe bunkó mindenki. A szoba ugy nézz ki mint egy 3*szálloda. Internet elvileg lenne de még sincs. Illetve wifi csak a lobi bárba. Csalodót vagyok.1hetet töltöttünk ott egy évnek tünt.

虽然酒店是老酒店，但是很干净，床单，被罩都非常整洁，睡起来很舒服，地点也挺好

干净，舒适，地处市区，出行比较方便。

In der Beschreibung steht von 15 min zum Flughafen. Es sind 45 min. Und das um 6:30 morgends. Aus diesem Grunde hatte ich dort eingebucht. Jrdes Hotel in der Stadt ist nicht weiter

The service is good , and also the staff there , let u feel warm . But the place is far away from the subway and the city. But near airport . If u are going on a trip , then it's not a good choice , it will take u 1hour to go to the city .
