The hotel was reasonably clean, nicely decorated and comfortable.
It is impossible to find, hidden on the 15th floor inside another hotel! The lighting is very poor. The breakfast is very basic - a hard boiled egg and a bread roll.
The hotel staff do not speak English but bend over backwards to help by using their samsung translator app on their own phones, offer food or share their own if you show the slightest interest.
Nothing, I thought the rooms and common area were different and very funky.
The beds were comfy, the rooms large and quiet, the air con worked perfectly, and the staff totally accommodating and tried their hardest to communicate in English with a app translator. The hotel was like a luxury event after staying in guest houses in rural China and a very nice experience!
The wifi was pretty bad, we could not use Skype to call overseas. There were some issues with the communication with the staff but consider that not the fault of the hotel as much as an issue with my spoken Chinese ( and want other travelers to be prepared) The breakfast was functional rather than compelling. The biggest issue we had was finding the location as is in a business building - there are no markings on the front of the building. Had we not found a kind local soul on the street that spoke English and literally escorted us to the hotel out of the goodness of his heart we would still be wandering the streets! This all stated - the positives far outweighed the negatives if one is forewarned to expect all of the above!
Small, quiet, safe
Lack of good lighting
