Ramada Plaza Hangzhou  

Das Hotel ist nicht zu groß und hat eine sehr gute Lage, nur 5 Minuten vom Ufer des Westsees entfernt. Rund um das Hotel gibt es zahlreiche Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr effizient und freundlich. Ich kann das Hotel nur weiterempfehlen.

Room very poor, furniture very old and minibar was totally empty. I will say it's maximum a three star hotel.

Whilst located close to the lake the hotel was on the edge of a very busy city. Essential to have address in Chinese to give to taxi driver to stand any chance of getting from train station. Also very difficult to get taxis as all seem to be busy !!

The king assistance of Mr. Ben Ding that helped us resolve an issue we had when, by an involuntary error in booking a room in Taiyuan that I made reserving a room for the same night I was staying at the Ramada. He called the hotel and helped in the translation and in obtaining the telephone of Booking.com in China.we also liked very much the buffet breakfast. Abundant, good quality with choices for both Wester and Asian tastes.

Staff at the front desk provided different type of room than booked (deluded) When we complained we were moved. Guests must be careful with this, since we booked Lake view, and our first room had none. These rooms should be level 7th or higher to really provide Lake view. The explanation was that "she did not know"; however, we first thought that if the customer does not complain, you may just get a standard room.

Location is definitely very convenient, the West Lake and the the Lakeside Park (with fountains show) is just across the road.

It's definitely overpriced for the service level provided. Being one of the tourist top destinations, Hangzhou is generally overpriced, however i was unpleasantly surprised with the level of service, the room and facilities that were offered by the hotel for the quite high price i paid. I would not stay there again, rather i'd try to find a better option.

Good location near Westlake.

Building was old with cracked walls and ceiling.

The location is fine as this is just about one block away from the West Lake. It doesnt' matter to much that I need to take longer time to walk to the shopping points as my main purpose is to enjoy the scenary rather than shopping. The price is reasonable.

The booking system is a bit chaotic, which is further aggravated by the inadequate communication / handover among staff.

The location is fantastic, right by the West Lake. Interior feels a bit old and the service staff are not the best but I attribute that to the language barrier. Taxi drivers know it as the Hua Hai Hotel and not the Ramada - useful tip when trying to return back to the hotel.
