Hankar Service Apartment  

Its comfortable apartment, located in a cluster of residential apartments. Very quite and peaceful location. Its not very convenient if you are using public transport, but not very bad either. 15 mins walk from nearest metro station on line 6. One advantage is that its very close to the Longyang Road station, so if you use Maglev then it takes 15 mins to reach the apartment by taxi after getting out of the maglev station. They provide internet free of charge, I was surprised to see a desktop computer being provided in the apartment. There was only one guy who could talk in English.

I stayed in this apartment with a colleague for 7 days. We had booked a 2 bed room apartment, stayed on 20th floor, room 2004. I booked this apartment based on the location shown on booking.com map, the booking .com map shows the apartment located almost next to a metro station. But in reality its a bit away 15 mins walk from the nearest rly metro station. The location is just that there is a residential apartment block in between the this apartment and station, that you need to circumvent and this takes atleast 15 mins. The rooms / bathrooms are not well maintained, the door handles where broken. There is no convenience store nearby to this apartment, ofcourse this is a super market 5 mins walk going from the back gate of the apartment, but then its not oen round the clock, so you may find it difficult to buy any small things / food stuff after 10 PM and untill 8.30 am when the super market opens. The above things are not that big an issue, kind of manageable with proper planning, but the biggest thing that I disliked about this apartment is that they DONT provide a washing machine, as a service apartment one would expect the washing machine in the room. The laundry is as expensive as in any good business hotel. They don’t provide the basic cleaning stuff used to clean the utensils, the liquid soaps was not refilled. I think its a good place but I found a few better apartments in locations like century avenue that provided better services, amenities like gym / swimming pool which were not present in Hankar, and all this at the same price.

It was clean and quiet.
