Beijing Red Wall Garden Hotel Wangfujing    

The staff were amazing - welcome cup of tea on arrival, notes on the door the following morning informing us of the temperature, tips for getting taxis etc. Beds were super comfortable. We loved this hotel and would highly recommend it.

Location was convenient and not too crowded

The hotel arranged me a free airport pick up. The staff there were so nice and professtional,There was no elevator in the hotel and one of them carried my heavy bags all the way to the 3rd floor, and they always have smile on their face.the atmosphere in the courtyard is fantastic, sitting there with a drink in the late afternoon is just fabulous. Staff are also helpful and thoughtful, arranged me with a car and a tour guide to the Great Wall. On the day of leaving, i had to check out early cuz i needed to go to the Great Wall, and i have my flight in the late evening, when I came back to the hotel for my luggage, i was exhausted. They let me use one of the rooms for showering and getting changed, i appreciated that so much. I highly recommend this hotel if u want something unique special and has characters. I ENJOYED SO MUCH, I HOPE TO GO THERE AGAIN WITH MY FAMILY NEXT TIME.

real courtyard boutique hotel in Beijing wonderful hotel with the best location to the pedestrian street. room is great and spacious, food in the restaurant are delicious, and I thought they only do free airport pick up or drop off, i didnt use any of that, so they offered me a free drop off to the place that i wanted to go. Overall a great luxury hotel, good atmosphere in the courtyard, Staff are so thoughtful and kind always have smile on their faces, they also speaks good English. Highly recommended!!

Nice room well furnished, nice atmosphere in the courtyard.

It's nice to be in a hutong but inconvenient to reach the hotel or to get a taxi. The service was not as good as expected - people not willing to speak English, Wifi was not working properly, people not really welcoming at the restaurant - we couldn't get anything because we arrived a little too late after the breakfast closed.

The hotel room was spacious and clean, attribute that seems to be hard to find in Beijing! The clean room made us feel comfortable and we appreciated it a lot since I was ill and had to stay at the hotel for quite a few days. The personnel was attentive and caring. One evening we were surprised by a heavy rain and did not have umbrellas and proper shoes with us. When we reached the hotel, completely soaked by then, the personnel sent us warm towels and warm cups of tea. When I was very ill and needed a doctor, they found one, sent me there by their car (for free), and one personnel accompanied us after she had finished her pass at the hotel! The hotel has a very nice courtyard with plants, flowers and a fountain and it is peaceful and quiet although the hotel is located quite near the center. The restaurant is very good and satisfied my husband's need of chinese food and mine and my daughter's crave for western food. Breakfast is a bit too thin for the price. All in all, very highly recommended on all counts. Cudos to the excellent personnel! Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Beijing!

A very good hotel With the recommendation of my friend, I booked this hotel online. I have never lived in such courtyard hotel before. It owns a very competitive location, from there to Wangfujing Street only several minutes on foot, to Tian’anmen Square only 10 minutes. The hotel is very beautiful with a peaceful courtyard even in this busy city center, which made my wife and I very pleasantly surprised. We sat in the chairs in the courtyard, drinking some beer, It was very nice. the only pity was our staying was short in Beijing last time, my wife and I both decided to choose it as our accommadation in Beijing the next time we were seen off by a hotel driver with a hotel car freely, the driver was very kind and the young reception girl as well. We felt at home when we live in the Redwall Garden Hotel, we wish it a better future.

excellente situation à deux blocs de la Cité Impériale (comptez quand même 45 mns de marche, les blocs sont très étendus!),situé dans une ruelle charmante, propreté irréprochable, charme de la décoration et de la cour de l'hôtel, gentillesse et professionnalisme du personnel. Restaurant simple et correct, pratique après une longue journée de marche. Quelques problèmes à la réservation, nos demandes de confirmation de chambre avec lit d'appoint ne furent jamais répondus, cependant tout s'est arrangé avec un upgrade de dernière minute. ça reste un hôtel de charme où la gentillesse et la bonne volonté de tous font passer les défauts mineurs. Un endroit que nous recommandons.

les femmes de chambre ne parlent absolument pas l'anglais, ce qui rend compliqué des demandes simples. En réservation, le niveau d'anglais est aussi insuffisant, bien que meilleur. Le site de l'hôtel ne marche pas très bien, problèmes de communication.

Das Redwall Garden Hotel hat einen sehr schönen Innenhof und Hotelzimmer mit einer Terasse in diesen Hof hinein. Die ganze Zimmerausstattung ist mit schönen alten Möbeln (teilweise historischen) eingerichtet.

Das Bad war nicht sauber, in der Dusche war schwazer Schimmel am Boden entlang. Das Hotel ist wenn auch nahe am Zentrum doch abgelegen in einer schmutzigen Seitenstrasse. Der abendliche Fussweg vom absoluten Zentrum in diese Seitengassen ist nicht schön.

Lage: mitten im Zentrum, und sehr ruhig Sehr nettes Personal, bemüht zu helfen, Englisch manchmal etwas mühsam. Flughafentransfert

Wir waren vier Tage als Touristen in Peking. Die Lage des Hotels war für uns perfekt. Sehr zentral und 200 m von der nächsten U-Bahn-Station in einem alten Hutong. Perfekt auch die Ruhe im Hotel, der schöne Innenhof, der an ein altes Siheyuan erinnert. Es handelt sich aber um einen Neubau. Sehr gut das Frühstück, was in China wohl nicht die Regel ist. Das Personal hilfsbereit und aufmerksam, Englischkenntnisse sind gut, so dass sie für uns Telefonate und Buchungen erledigen konnten. Das Ambiente im Zimmer sehr schön. Ich kann das Hotel uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Carsten Thies, 46, München

Small hotel at human size with great courtyard

extremely cold in the first floor of the 2-floors apartment, absolutely impossible to stay in winter, booked for 5 days but had to leave after the first night

Only 5 or 10 minutes to get to the most center of Beijing, the location is so nice that help me save a lot of time to meet my chinese business partners and attend the conference in their office building around Wangfujing.The architectural and decorative style of it is so attractive! I was tired of leaving in a standard five star hotel, so before this trip, I decided to chose a special boutique hotel. My decision is right! The staff are also very professional and kind, which made me really feel at home! So, I would like to recommend the redwall garden hotel to my friends and all of you.

La salle de bain laissait à désirer et n'était pas à la hauteur du standing attendu de cet hôtel.

Das Hotel ist etwas romantisch in dunklem Holz gehalten, in chinesischem Stil. Sehr freundliches Personal, ein schöner und ruhiger Innenhof; und das mitten in den Hutongs. Man hat sowohl Ruhe und Geschäftigkeit in einer unweit gelegenen Einkaufsstraße nahe beieinander.

Das Haus ist von außen etwas renovierungsbedürftig.

On a réservé une chambre pour 3,précisant que notre fille de 22 ans voyagait avec nous. En arrivant tard le soir on nous propose une chambre double,expliquant que les chambres triple n'existent pas chez eux, on a du déménagé et ma fille a eu pour lit un banc plutôt dur pour dormir.
