Poor wi fi Middle of nowhere

I wanted to be near the airport and was only there one night so can't give a true comment but I fopuind the staff to be attentive and rooms clean but only went for this as we got a special deal at approx 400 Y plus 100 Y for breakfast. I am sure the room price is a lot more than that normally as it is a very large hotel so doubt if we would have even considered it.

Rooms in the front are very near to the roads that take continuous traffic to the airport and are very noisey, don't expect a good nights sleep.

Well, you get what you pay for so everything within the limit of the budget. Everthing acceptable.

The room was spacious, clean and beautiful. I travel a lot all over the world and the Howard Johnson was one of the nicest places I have ever been. I have paid double the money for less than half the room. I was extremely pleased with my stay. If I am ever in Shanghai again I will definitely stay there! I was 100% satisfied. Jerry Douglas

The hotel and the facilities

The staff were so unfriendly and they did not give any attention to what our requirements are.

Close to the airport

Very difficult to find. Most taxi drivers did not know how to get to the hotel. No transport from the airport to the hotel as the taxi refused to go. The food in the coffee shop had almost no taste. The breakfast was more expensive than the buffet lunch?

Good rooms, big and spacious , location near to airport convenient for transfer

The shuttle bus is very bad servicing the airport, the sercice is provided every 90 minutes , even if the airport is only 5 minutes by distance. I had to catch a taxy to go there, note rhat I chose the hotel being near to airport and providing free shuttle

Confortable room and bathroom.

I choose this hotel because in booking.com apresentation it should be 3 minutes drive from Hongqiao Airport, but this is not true, it is 20 minutes or more....

I just used it because of its location near to airport and reasonable price. It is also good that you offer free transfer to the airport. It is nice designed hotel with friendly staff.

The distance to the airport, Fast service when checking-in and out, excellent staff, nice facilities, free shuttle bus to the hongqiao airport.

cant think of anything, if the price would be higher you could ask for more of course, but it is really a fair deal. It is not a hotel for people who want to explore Shanghai city.

Convenience to airport and high speed train station plus metro

Roomy foyer with wifi. Breakfast good + restaurant adequate Shower cubicle not adequately drained and floods bathroom floor. Leads to dank smell in room.

Price and the location.

Room is too small. Not that comfortble. There is a shuffle bus to Hongqiao airport and unfortunately I missed it for 10mins. So they charge me 70CNY to go there by a car. Why can't they just help me to book a taxi to get there? It would cost less than 20CNY.

The room and the hotel are in need of renovation. This hotel does not have the same standard as other Howard Johnson hotels I have been to in China. The location is not good for longer stays.
