Howard Johnson Huaihai Hotel  

Pleasant, simple hotel in a good location, very close to the subway, the French quarter and numerous cafes. The restaurant next door, it's called something simple like "Shanghai Cuisine Restaurant" is very good and worth a visit. Bed was very comfortable.

Hotel has a bit of a business traveller feel to it. One of the staff members was a bit robotic - no hello or please or thanks or bye. But I would stay in this hotel again.

The location is perfect for my purpose, but it very good in general. Steps away from good (Western + Chinese) restaurants, shops, just on the corner of the major shopping streets, subway station.

Comfort ,services and location

The staff was very helpful and spoke english very well. They were a joy to interact with.

The wifi in the room was a bit spotty and the pay for internet usage in the business center was annoying.

friendly reception staff

there was a pub/disco with very nosiy music until 2am on 1 May. We complained to the reception byt it seemed that they could not do anything in the middle of the night. We could not sleep and we transferred to another room on the other side of the hotel on 2 May. I thought the hotel should be more alert to these things and complained to the pub before the customers got agitated.

Gute Lage, nur wenige Minuten zur U-Bahn Station. Tolle Service, sehr freundlich und kompetent. Sehr sauberes Zimmer. Free WiFi im Zimmer.

A localização do hotel é excelente. Fica no bairro mais charmoso da cidade (antiga Concessão Francesa) e podemos explorar Xangai (Puxi) a pé há um estação de metrô próxima, o que permite também usar o hotel como base para explorar regiões menos centrais da cidade. A região onde fica o hotel tem alguns dos melhores restaurantes de Xangai.

ホテルは清潔で、バスアメニティも充実。地下鉄へのアクセスも便利で良い。

壁が若干薄いのか、宿泊人の声が大きいのか、隣の部屋からの話し声が少し音が気になった。
