There's a bit of a mildew smell throughout the hotel, but it is my understanding that many hotels in Guangzhou also have this smell due to such high humidity in the city. This hotel is excellent value for the money.

Location - lot of eateries around. Metro station close by. Highway network closeby.

We booked this hotel when arrived to Guangzhou, when we found wi-fi. The taxi driver said that it was bad hotel, but we didn't listen to him, and we were right. He probably gets comissions from another hotel which he recommended. The hotel is good. Clean rooms, good location, the metro station is 5 minutes walk.

The staff didn't want to exchange money when we arrived, as they said there were now money available. In the morning they said that they will exchange it, but on unfair rates. We were very dissapointed about that, because we didn't have any local currency with us, and we had to spend extra hour to exchange money in local bank. I think that hotel should provide this service for foreign guests on fare conditions.

The hotel ask the id of anyone who came to your room, even for less an hour no matter it is a friend or else...!!! I never saw that in China but aty this hotel, very disturbing !!

I like that the staff are able to speak relatively good english. Communication is not a problem. Also, the location is accessible to restaurants and shopping centres

The friendliness of your staff and the location which is very close to department store, to dining venue, and to MRT station.

Although I booked for non-smoking floor, I can still smell the smoke from somewhere. Perhaps they ought to be more strict to their guests regarding to their smoking habits. I mean, non-smoking floor IS supposed to be smoking-smell-free also, right? And I also can hear noises from other rooms (including the room on the lower level!). Maybe this hotel could make themselves more noise-proof. In short, I certainly would NOT recommend this hotel to those who have problems with smoking air or problems with noise when you're sleeping.

The deluxe double room was large and comfortable, and always kept very clean. The staff were very friendly & always eager to respond to our requests or questions. The MRT is just 3 minutes walk, and from there you can go quickly to Beijing Road & Shangxia Jiu Road & Haizhu Square, where the shopping is unlimited! We spent 5 days there and not a wasted minute where shopping is concerned!

The hotel breakfast could be a lot better by offering more varieties and more halal options.

No room service menu to order meals

There was nothing that I liked. I was planning to stay there for 5 nights, but after 2 I left and found another hotel

There was nothing that I liked, they say they have store inside the hotel were you can buy drinks, snacks and so on but it was never there. Also the minibar had 2 drinks, one beer and one orange soda. The staff don´t understand nothing in English and the hotel is a disaster. Mattresses is like sleeping on the floor.

Good location in Tianhe, close to subway station, restaurants and supermarket. Very spacious, comfortable room with a big double bed.

Right from the checking in un-till check out, I had a very pleasant experience in this hotel. The reception was cordial and were able to converse in english. The house keeping was very good & room service was quiet prompt. The best part of this hotel is its situation and proximity to Metro Station. The hotel is surrounded with diverse food joints and it is walking distance to the grand electronic bazaar[Pacific computer centre].

The breakfast offered in this hotel is very very meagre and not up to the standards offered in lot of similar hotels. But the fact, you can find other eateries nearby almost nullifies this deficit. The elevator ride down also is not very smooth. There is a lot of shake in its movements[ as if you are going over bumps].

The hotel is conveniently located near Shapiqao Metro Station, Line 3. Exit B. There are a plenty places to eat near the hotel, staff speaks English, wifi is OK.

I want to try once more next time, but hope can enjoy more discount & get the breakfast for free !

Cheap hotel in a good location (a few minutes walk from the subway) with good wifi in the rooms. There are some good restaurants nearby. I recommend the "all day breakfast" at Boca Cafe and the French Cuisine at Alsace Village.

The entire hotel allows smoking. We requested a non-smoking room but were put in a smoking room. We requested to move to a non-smoking room and were moved to another smoking room. We once again requested we be moved to a non-smoking room and were again moved to a smoking room... Eventually they admitted to us they allow smoking in all the bedrooms and there are no non-smoking rooms.

Hotel is almost adequately for its price. Yes, hotel is old but for such price you get large (in comparison with other non-expensive Chinese hotels) room that is noticeable advantage. Location is very good distance to metro is about 200-300 meters.

Quite cheap in Tianhe district. Close to metro station. Restaurants are close to the hotel.

I think I was not given a room on the renovated floor. I stay at l8 which is old and a bit dirty. Massage on l6 was fair but is cheaper than Shenzhen.

Good location, meaning the subway is quite close, friendly staff, great view of Tianhe district from the upper floors.

The breakfast was somewhat dissapointing; nothing tasted good. But taking into mind the room price, I guess I got what I deserved.
