Location close to Westlake. helpfull staff. Ok rooms. Breakfast ok, fine with lake view. Free Internet.

The daily supply of fruits!

One of the worst hotels I ever stayed! I requested for a non Smoking Room and they gave me otherwise!!!!!!!! The security was bad, allowing drunkards to checkin! Poor command of English for staff!!! The worst Breakfast buffet!!!!! The pillows and duvet were dusty!!!!! And the shower area has moldy flooring!!! No choice of english channels!!

Executive suites had European electricity plugs and computer and Internet access. Access to drinking water as required. Room very nice. Staff helpful.

That it allows smoking throughout its floors (made the floors smell unpleasant). The buffet was extremely poor, both for breakfast and dinner. We wanted some western (or Japanese) cuisine for dinner after weeks of Chinese and paid a lot of money for an extremely disappointing selection. The salmon sashimi tasted unpleasant, the sushi was dry and the rest of the buffet suited Asian palates and NOT western.

Good location, nearby the famous lake. Breakfast is quite good. Anyway it is a fair choice, likely to stay again next time.

We chose to upgrade to superior executive room per reception's recommendation, but the room is actually not big, and bathtub is quite small, not relaxing enough

Location is good. The hotel staff are warmhearted.

The rank of this hotel would not be 4 stars but actually 3 stars which should be reasonable against the room charge. The room seems to be provided as no-smoking room for non-smokers but smoking room for smokers because the room smelled smoke.

The staff here were fantastic - helping with all requests we could throw at them, helping hail cabs in the pouring rain. Jenny on reception even found out for my mother where their lobby art (little glass birds) were from and left a note to say as much. The buffet was excellent. This hotel is great central location few blocks to the lake but great value. Staff also prompted to become a frequent flyer for discount discount. I initially submitted a review for this hotel thinking it was another less satisfying hotel I stayed in, I contacted booking.com to have another GO to give positive feedback (Reviews are important), thanks Huachen.

The beds in keeping with other Chinese hotels were very firm and light on padding (I like a firm bed but not this firm), perhaps that is because I booked the entry level room. Wi Fi access only in the Lobby again this seems to be the theme.

The room is very pleasant and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful.

The hotel location is not far from the tourist attraction (west lake) with quite reasonable price. The hotel managemant is quite efficient in preparing for the extra bed that we requested the next day without having to be reminded.

Booking.com website does not have the facililty to allow booking for extra beds during on-line reservation. As for the hotel, the room was quite small for deluxe double room. The beds were the standard size beds and not the large single beds that we were expecting. Services such as buying train tickets for their foreign customers especially who cannot speak Chinese, should be provided by the hotel. It was really a challenge to buy bullet train ticket at the train station.

Standard chinese 4 star hotel - reasonable location

Mainly chinese guests - staff struggled with English, breakfast geared towards Chinese.

The staff was very helpful, they helped me to book my train ticket (one of them went with me to the ticket office and stayed in the line with me). Another one did more than his best to get a taxi for me at rush time. The best hotel staff I never seen. The hotel is nice, the rooms are clean, wonderful breakfast.

Good location and a good and fair rate for the city possibly a good 3.5 star Hotel and a good attitude towards the guests.

No real dedicated Non Smoking Rooms

it was the first hotel in China where I found someone able to speak in english.The staff was very friendly and they gave me a better room for free because I came earlier and my room wasn't ready.
