Nice location and nice staff

Really very quiet and extremely clean. Good location - 20m from street with all types of restaurants and shops. 10M from metro station. Bikes rent in hotel. New towels every day.

Hard beds – only for people who loves that. WiFi – internet only for China citizens, for registration on web you must put your id number which not work with foreigners.

Had to wait toooo long for breakfest, some morning about 50 minutes. I bit hard beds for some of us, but this is the Chines beds.

Rather old, dirty hotel. Not very comfortable bathroom&toilet. If I need to stay in Beijin again - I would try to find another hotel with better facilities but at the same district.

Internet is not good; we had to go to the patio to be able to use it. My bed was not done first day. Difficult to communicate with some staff members in English.

It was a backpacker hotel but the rate of 288 yuan a night made us think it was a suitable 3 star hotel. We we totally disappointed. There was no breakfast which we got at the Days Inn, Xian. The outside was incredibly dirty. I dont know how it appears in Booking.com The rate of Yuan 100 to 120 would have made this hotel fair priced .. not 288

The staff was very helpful, although they do not all speak good English (fortunately some do); for instance, they came with me to the end of the Shija Hutong street to help me stop a taxi and explain where I wanted to go (in Beijing it is frequent to see taxis not stopping to pick up passengers); the lady that came with me refused even take my tip. The location was great: the neighbouring (narrow) streets of the hutong are full of small restaurants (e.g. for breakfast) and shops (with very few cars); the Qianmen subway station is at 10-15mn and Tienanmen at 25 mn by foot.

My double room was a bit small, but had a window on the outside which I appreciated (some rooms have windows on the corridors/patios); the shower tube was short (due to a long circuit through the ceiling between the mixer tap and shower head) i.e. better adapted to tall people; the bathroom was also small and showers get the floor and WC wet. All in all those are minor shortcomings with respect to the pros of the hotel.

Although the hotel is very well located, the surroundings are not very pleasing to the eye. however the staff were very warm and helped me with everything I needed. would definitely return to hotel.

the smell of food and to turn off the heating at night. I had to request an extra blanket to sleep.

Quite clean, comfortable bed and shower, well presented hotel. Staff try their very best to help you even though they struggle to understand english.

When you first arrive, the road the hotel is situated on is not attractive at all, but once you step inside the hotel its conforting.

Excellent location! Is located in a Hutong very close to the Tiananmen Sqr, Forbiden City, shoping area and metro station. Staff very friendly and helpfull. Its easier to reach the Hotel with the metro and google maps than with a taxi (since is in a Hutong they may not know whre it is)

Not a big issue...but you better take your own toilet paper :)

What can I say, This is my fourth time staying here, excellent hotel, very close to Subway line 2. Many traditional Chinese shops/restaurants around the restaurant. Great area to visit. The hotel itself is also great the staff speaks excellent English, I have never had any problems with this hotel.

The staff here are really nice and humanizing.They do so well even the tiny details.It is a traditional Chinese courtyard and the room is really comfortable,I like it here very much.More importantly,the atmosphere here is really good.The food and drinks served in the bar are more than delicious,I love the coffee most,I had a lovely stay here,I would stay here again if I got any chance.

Wifi didn't work despite being advertised as free through hotel. Neither did the cable Ethernet.

Very good staff, specially Alex the Spanish guy was very helpfull of my staying and place to see in 1 day. Location is excellent, you can walk to forbidden city. Good value for money.

My room was little bit cold, aircon working good but still takes time to made my room warm.

The envoiroment and decoration is excelenten, real old chinese style. And the area is very luxury ancient area, only 10 minutes walking Tiananmen and forbidencity. It is relly silence. The staff and the manager is very kind and helpful. They give many direction for to get the most important pleases The bar has a really good food and I enjoyed a lot the beverage. You will fill like a your home.

Superb location right in the middle of Qianmen shopping area, 10 min walk to metro. Old Hutong converted with modern facilities. Clean, unfussy. Decent in-house restaurant.

Leaving

I was mugged in Tianimen Square, 10 am with lots of police and people around by four men. Gave them all my cash but convinced them I left my credit card at the hotel. Took me over an hour to get away safely from them. The management and staff at the hotel completely indifferent when told what happened. "Chinese Save Face" response - it couldn't happen here! Guess I was perfect target... alone and old!

The staff were friendly and obliging. The room was spacious and elegant. The price was reasonable relative to the comfort of the accomodation and central location.

The internet connection cut out a lot. The only space for socialising with other guests was cramped and subject to a constant barrage of loud pop music.

Great location very close to the Tianamen Square. Friendly and helpful staff, of which some speak quite a lot of english, especially compared to other people in BeiJing. The guy who runs the bar/diner next to the lobby is an absolute gem. Drinks and breakfast cheap and very reliable.

Hotel could be very hard to find, although the location is excellent. It is located down a tight alley, next to sex shop. You will never know it is a sex Shop unless you enter it though. Rooms could get cold, especially the bathroom.

It's close to the Tiananmen Square, and really close from the subway station (get out at Qianmen, follow Meishi streer for 5-10 minutes, turn left into Shija hutong, you should be able to see the hotel name).

The shower was... Well, let me just say that I haven't really seen such a construction before :) not a big issue, though, as everything was working.

sehr gut Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis perfect place near city center, very friendly personal. One of the best hotel so far experienced.
