Location. Close to city and transport. Dirty, smelly, first room windows didn't lock.

The location is superb. It is within walking distance to some of the more popular attractions and it is surrounded by places to shop and eat. The staffs are pretty friendly. Plenty. The furnitures are pretty run down and some strength required to close the room door and toilet door. The wifi doesn't work in the room. Accordingly to the receptionist, it's a problem with Apple products. I realized I have to stand in the corridor in order to use the wifi. The kettle interior peels off and floats in the water, despite repeated scrubbing and rinsing. The bed is rock hard and the pillow is paper thin. The breakfast is served from 6.30 to 9. If you reach the restaurant after 7, the food would be cold.

酒店的设施非常差，早餐全是冷的没有热的，房间一股味道，而且家具都很旧，厕所还有蟑螂，浴室里所有物品都- 要用钱购买，洗澡的水还要用电热器加热，说要每人洗澡时间不能很长，但是也太短了，刚洗个头水就开始变冷了- ，不值得推荐。

Localization in the heart of the old town. A short ten minutes walk from the train station. Breakfast included. People smoking in the reception hall (my room was not far from it) !!! The acoustic isolation is not perfect, I visited 3 rooms before finding the one acceptable.

The location is good: within walking distance of the Qingdao Bay, Qingdao Train Station, Zhejiang Road Catholic Church, and the foodmarket located on Zhongshan Road. We arrived after a late flight around 11.30 pm by taxi at the Gold Lampstand Garden Holiday Hotel, and were told upon arrival that our booked ''Deluxe Queen Room'' was no longer available. The staff tried to help us out and offered us several alternative rooms, however, all of these rooms were in seriously poor condition. We ended up accepting a ''family room'' in order to have a place for the night, but already decided to check out first thing in the morning. Our room was located on the third floor of a deserted building, that we assumed to be under renovation, accross from the reception of the hotel. All in all, the place looked rather rundown, and although the prices were low we did not enjoy our stay.
