    Departing.

Now that they have two towers, the organization is a bit confusing. Also a mega-event was in town--the result was the many customers were treated quite poorly with limited access to the entrances and had to walk-in the luggage from the street. You could tell the staff was under pressure, as they were not their usual friendly nature-- not a pretty scene. Maybe I will try somewhere else next time.

The location of the Jinling is excellent, handy to the sights and with a number of shopping malls close by. Their concierge service is very good - arranging a taxi for us for a day if sightseeing, recommending good restaurants and airport transfers in the hotel car. All staff were courteous and helpful with a good command of English. I would highly recommend this hotel.

My partner and I recently stayed 5 nights at the Jinling Hotel. The lobby, restaurants, and all public areas are beautiful and well maintained. Our room was not large, but very well cleaned and stocked with many amenities, including daily water bottles. The location is right in the middle of town, next to two intersecting subway lines. We enjoyed the large daily buffet breakfast which was included in our rate. One morning the hostess tried to charge us, but after a few moments fixed the error. We also liked having access to the executive lounge where we enjoyed daily coffee and snacks. The bellhops/valets in front, such as Black and Tang, were quite helpful to us, translating to our taxi drivers where we wished to go. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to both business travelers and tourists

    Internet could be better

A repeat customer-- love the breakfast and their elevator key system is the best-- no problems. They are very kind to me. Close to good shopping. Visited Xuanwu Hu and Purple Mountain-- great world class parks.

Nanjing traffic and drivers. Getting lost in the underground pedestrian system.

The hotel was well located in the crosssection of the two metro lines. Staff were friendly and service as in a top hotel. Room was spacious and clean. And the breakfast was just excellent with large variety of dishes.

    Nothing to complain.

Comfortable well appointed room with city views from 30 Floor. Great location not just for subway (Line 1 exit 6) and plethora of upmarket shopping centres, but for access to sights such as Confucius Temple/Presidential Palace. Staff quite proficient in English and willing to assist. Good buffet breakfast certainly well catering for western tastes. Pianist in Lobby Lounge (where we had glass of wine when not available in Executive Lounge).

We'd paid slightly more for room including access to Executive Lounge which advertised as being open until 11pm,but on both nights (arriving around 7.15pm-7.35pm)we were advised service was about to close/had finished!

The price of the Chinese restaurant is a bit too high, compare to the other 5 stars hotel in China, for example Crown Plaza.

The location - right across from an important metro stop linking both lines in the city. - excellent service. Staff were friendly and warm throughout our stay. All questions were assisted to and the concierge service gives excellent recommendations for visits and restaurants.

    - sound from corridor and across rooms / not too bad but not as quiet as it can be -furniture and decoration little old.

Proximity to key places to visit (Nanjing War memorial, Ming temples, Dr Sun yat Sen museun plus other attractions. Very comforable beds! Right above two train lines made it easy to get around. Discounted price thorugh booking.com was fair value. Rack rate would not have been.

A 'sports bar' would have been nice. The lobby lounge was very nice but somewhere more informal and cosy would have been good. Air conditioning was too warm and could not be turned down belos about 26 degrees - too hot in the room!
