Beautiful design, attention to detail, artworks. Fabulous bathroom with glass walls overlooking the Bund and river, from the tub! Delicious cookies, drinks and fruit available 24 hours in lounge. Attentive staff. Prime location. Spacious, comfortable room, excellent bed.

Can't think of a thing. A bit over our usual budget but well worth it.

The staff were very friendly and very helpful, gorgeous building, very clean, spacious and well decorated.

No much comes to mind, only little niggle would be the light in the cupboard above the mini bar... Couldn't figure out how to switch it off and became a bit annoying when trying to sleep.

It was stylish and beautifully presented in a lovely convenient location. Perfect for a short visit to Shanghai with lovely staff, interesting breakfasts and a well equipped attractive room.

The ladies at the desk when we checked in on April 23rd were most friendly and helpful and made us feel really welcome. The professionalism of all staff members was impressive. Our stay was most enjoyable and we would return or recommend this hotel at any time.

We loved our stay at Les Suites Orient. The staff were so helpful providing us with detailed information, map, directions etc for cultural sightseeing and the best shopping. The were polite, friendly and incredibly helpful. The hotel room was luxurious and also well set up for our young baby and toddler - we were provided with 2 beautiful cots on roller wheels and with lovely bedding. We look forward to returning to this hotel again next year - very happy memories.

Very nice hotel at a fantastic location. We had the most amazing view of Huangpu river and Pudong area from our room, and a fantastic view over The Bund from the bathtub. The personnel were extreme friendly. It was nice with a welcome drink. Fantastic service!

Breakfast was good, but they could improve it.

Lovely interior design -- modern and clean lines. Front desk staff and concierge were extremely helpful and gracious; they even arranged to have a small tart delivered to our room to celebrate my birthday! Breakfast buffet had a nice selection of foods and cooked-to-order eggs each morning. We had the River View Suite and there was no traffic noise (16th floor) though we did keep our windows closed. Amazing view of Pudong! Very clean, comfortable, and spacious. We will definitely return! We have traveled extensively and this is one of the most accommodating and comfortable hotels we've stayed at. We thought it provided very high value for the expense.

Hotel well located. It takes about 15 mins by step to People Square and it is close to Yu Garden. The view of the Bund is superb. The staff are very efficient and helpful.

The staff at the Les Suites Orient were absolutely amazing. They were polite and extremely helpful. The rooms were also so beautifully appointed. We totally enjoyed our stay at Les Suites (and were sorry we only stayed two nights) and would stay here again and recommend to friends.

View of the bund is magnificent; Breakfast is excellent for our family of six (mom, dad, son and his toys gill grunt, birdy and zombie). The warm toilet is fun to use;

Staff generally very good. Minimalist decor is stunning.

The first floor is not the lobby where you check in, which is very confusing. You check in on the 3rd floor. They have a room reserved for smoking but it is horribly ventilated and while we were there had music cranked very loud. We had corner room and there was construction on rooftop of next door building, so construction workers could see into our room. However, shades were mechanized and we were not able to close the side shades without closing the front shades, which was our view to the river! Really stupid. Room was not that clean--curtains dusty, etc. Very dim lighting. Only 3 overhead fixtures and 2 were burned out. Not enough space for storing clothes--only 2 drawers each the size of shoe boxes. Wood furniture in room was worn and chipped. This is not a luxury hotel. I would not stay here again, despite the friendly and helpful staff.
