middle of shanghai business,shopping and tourist area transport duide esp metro to hotel from railstation, airport and bus station will help as there are 2 streets named the same in shanghai and also a metro stn name after the street shanxi which is confusing. lost our way due to this and becareful some taxis from rail station fleeses tourist. secondly reception charges in rmb not usd which may be slight different to your disadvantage. |

Location, no question. right on the busiest shopping street, next to the metro, not far form any of the Shanghai attractions. The hotel staff was reasonably helpful, breakfast a delight. It rained during our stay, and we were able to borrow an umbrella. The room was very roomy, unlike most China-based hotels. Really good value overall, unquestionably recommended as great-location, good budget hotel. Ah. The hard beds... even worse than some other hotels I'm afraid.The hotel is in a side-street of the main walk-way - and that side street is filled with strongly smelling "restaurants". Not a big deal. |

Great location. Great balcony view of the Shanghai skyline. However, you have to be lucky with the room as the room I booked through Booking.com had a crap view from the window. Paid $6 extra for a superior twin room. I had been staying in a standard twin room (booked through another agency) for the previous 2 days and the supposedly 'superior' room was worse than the standard room; the superior room didn't have a balcony and had a crap view. |

Location is the only good thing about this place... Everything was pretty low standard, we found another hotel for the same price the next night nearby and it was 4 times better. The staff were quite rude, lack of English, and the bed was like a rock! When I asked if we could get another room because the bed was too hard, they had maid services put a thin blanket over our mattress and that was their solution! |

very convenient for everything u need.. it was stated that the hotel is with air conditioned. But when we reach there, the air conditional will only be activated if the temperature hit certain celcius. I was travelling with an old menopause mum who can't stand heatiness... the hotel finally got a table fan for us and make arrangement to give us another room at higher level so that it's cooler as per request. |

Location. Right there at the Nanjing E Road Shopping area and only few meters from the Metro station. The Front Desk Staff. Two of the ladies were particularly rude in behaviour. They were very poor in calculations. We were paying them more than what they were asking but still they would argue for they thought we want to pay less for our internet & telephone use. It took 30 minutes to make them understand. Although we did our booking in US$, they insisted us to pay more as the RMB had appreciated. |

Excellente situation centrale pres du Bund et a 50m de la nanjing road Attention: l hotel est situe sur shanxi road et non pas shaanxi road qui se trouve dans la concession francaise. Il y avait une erreur sur le nom de la rue dans la reservation et nous avons passe deux heures avant de trouver l hotel |

het ligt op een perfecte locatie 100 meter van het nanjing metro station en midden in het centrum. Er is een goed reisbureau op de derde verdieping. De kamers zijn goed voor de prijs die wordt betaald de lokatie op de google map is totaal verkeerd aangegeven |
