Difficulty sometimes, of getting a taxi; plenty of time needs to be allowed, especially if going to station or airport.
The hotel is very centrally located and in walking distance to many attractions.
Great breakfast with lots of choice, and similarly, the evening restaurant buffet.
This was reasonably expensive however, so other nights we ate at a nearby restaurant, just a few doors along the main street. Good food, but inexpensive, and also very popular, especially with Westerners.
We were on a 2-week trip in China to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary, concluding with 3 days in Beijing where we had gone honeymooned back in 1985. This visit we had booked a Superior King Room of which there seems to be 2 styles. The one we were allocated was large and clean and on the 16th floor, but had beige and bright orange curtains and a matching brown and orange sofa which were very off-putting. We queried reception and were offered to look at another type of Superior King Room, but on a lower floor. This one suited us much better, having more tasteful furnishings and a huge corner window with tasteful curtains. Thank you to the kindly reception girl who facilitated this move.
Quiet room, excellent wifi, great postal service in foyer, trips desk, "happy hour" at bar.
