Appreciate the free upgrade from standard to superior room.
Great location and friendly, helpful staff. Very good breakfast.
Bed was very hard!
It is walking distance to Wanfujing Pedestrian Street & Food Street. If you are coming by Metro from the Airport, take the Airport Express, then the metro & change lines twice and get off Denshiko station. Take the exit for Wanfujing Pedestrian street, turn right when you get off, then right again at the end of the block & 100 meters down is the hotel. By taxi it is exactly 120 Yuan including toll.
We were given Room No. 2810.The AC was not working. When we complained they sent a person to check & he said it is OK. But even after 4 hours there was no cooling. The front desk person said that all rooms come like that & it is natural cooling!!. When we insisted a lady manager came & agreed that the room was not cooling & gave us an alternative room.
Great breakfast- both western and Chinese. A couple block walk to the popular snack street. In the heart of Beijing fancy shopping district. The hotel itself is clean, modern and basic. Would visit again.

location near mall
1. english language limited for staff 2. hotel staff was not friendly and helpfull
Location. Value for money.
Level of cleanliness behind food serving area in restaurant was very poor. At breakfast nearly always a problem with some of the coffee machines. Staff very slow to take away used delph from tables.
An excellent position in the main shopping area. Very close to the night market and many department stores. Easy walking distance to Tiananmen Square and the forbidden city. Staff were helpful and gave advice freely. Rooms were large and comfortable.
Shower over the bath.
bed not comfortable
We didn't like our stay there. The staff were not friendly and didn't help with a problem we had. The room doesn't justify the price. We will not return
5 stars hotel big entrance hall the suite was big enough ( living room and a bed room )
my room was in the new building so i had to walk from a lot. Pellows wasn't so comfy. WIFI is BAD. Breakfast buffet is very chinese No options for vegetarians. Spa is too expensive.
Great location, breakfast buffet had many options (including fresh pancakes!), room was comfortable and clean.
The room's key failed to opened the door several times. We had to go to the lobby at least 3 times in 2 days to get the card unlocked. Such thing should be taken care of by hotel's management as it is a bit inconvenient to arrive at your room door after a tiring day and realize you have to go all the way back to first floor again.....
Staff are great and friendly.
Breakfast was poor and not good value for money.
Location of hotel was perfect for Beijing. Breakfast offered a variety for western travelers
Staff had a problem processing my master card..did not understand it was a credit, not debit card. First room, although clean, had a great deal of mold in bathroom, so we asked to be moved to an upgraded room, which was better.
Good breakfast lots of variety Good happy hour Staff very friendly
The Novotel Peace is in a great position and has an impressive, flash lobby. It is very good value for money. The general cleanliness was also very good. The buffet breakfast was generous and choices extensive.
The door swipe card system is acknowledged as worn out by the staff and fails more often than not. We started to have the card reprogrammed at reception upon our return rather than waste time trying to open our door. Many guests had the same problem. The 'grain' in the bathroom marble tiles was mould not figuring. The food in the restaurant in the evening is not good and is expensive.
very good place to stay in the center of Beijing
Location excellent to be able to walk and near to subway
Nothing to do with hotel, but not easy to get taxis during rush hour
Location in the heart of Wangfuching shopping mall in Beijing. Airport bus runs to and from the airport right in front of the hotel for only 26 yuan.
Oddly built. We had to take the lift to the second floor from the lobby, walk across to the next building, climb and flight of stairs and then walk a corridor to take the lift. So definitely need a porter. Toiletries were nor replenished and bed was not well made.
location and breakfast
Rather impersonel hotel Bathroom could have been nicer Toilet blocked easily
Very good location
Old,unclean rooms. Internet connection sucks. Would never recommend.
AS was too hot & small. Asked them to change the room but they didn't.
Location is central and buffet breakfast waa great.
we were there for business. The quality of concierge was lacking information. We requested a change of room as our room had twin beds and they never accomodated it.
Very nice place
Good location-desk staff friendly and very helpful. It is a cultural habit but some staff need to learn to acknowledge clients and not turn away.
Cooks/chefs were helpful but need clean uniforms and wear masks to prevent coughing onto food. Chairs in dining room really need cleaning. I really do not like to give an opinion when this is the first hotel I have visited in China. People who are well travelled can decide.
