It ticked all the boxes . Food was excellent. Happy hour drinks half price .

The room was nt cleaned to my standard everyday.

Easy and cheap (19RMB) travelling by cab from Guangzhou East Railway Station - especially if arriving or leaving at night. Large variety of places to eat outside hotel. Short bus ride to Canton Fair. Washing facilities(need instructions for use in English though). English was well spoken by front end staff. Comfortable beds!!

Washing detergent was only provided for one use. I stayed 4 nights and it was never replaced.

First class property with excellent apartment style rooms and all of the comforts of home. Staff were very helpful and bar, restaurant, and fitness and pool facilities were all 5 star quality. Will definitely be back.

We stayed there over separate days, the one room I booked was not so clean behind the washing machine - hadn't been dusted in days. The shower leaks terribly

I just loved the whole time while staying at Oakwood. They try there best to cater for western cultures. There staff were just so helpful. The cost of drinks in the hotel bar were a little expensive but that's what you expect in an outstanding hotel. I have travelled the world and this hotel rates as a great hotel. I have stayed in other hotels in china and I could not get out of them faster enough, horrible, but the Oakwood I did not want to leave. If you are going to travel to Guangzhou stay at the Oakwood it's really is a great. We requested a limo pickup at the airport for around $120.00 Aust, it was cheaper then our taxi to the airport in Melbourne. Loved the hotel.

The supermarket 2 minutes from the hotel it did not stock enough product lines. And trying to get bread and butter for toast I gave up.

Hotel was clean and comfortable, well-located, well-furnished and very close to the shopping malls, fair ground etc.

The staff in the restaurant had some difficulty in English.

Booking.com sent confirmation that breakfast was included, however front desk wasn't this opinion and due to the fact that they couldn't read my dutch confirmation from Booking.com I decided to pay it.

Loved the space, view and location. It was very secure with room card access being necessary to travel in the elevator.

They did not supply us with dish towels for washing or drying dishes in a self catering apartment. When we inquired, they told us to buy our own! The cleaners did not replace used tea or sugars, toilet paper. We often needed to ask. Not expected of such an expensive apartment. It was a 6 to 8 sleeper but they only supplied 4 plates, knives, forks etc. - also told to buy our own.

apartments is really big with nice view. Bathroom new and clean.

The hotel is in a great location with excellent facilities, including a great restaurant, gym and pool.

The 2-room apartment is modern, clean and amenities exceelent.

Everything was in order and flawless. Five star luxury, excellent customer service, every staff we interacted with spoke good English and were friendly and helpful. Made our stay there very very comfortable. Also one of the best locations in TianHe.

Slightly expensive. But was well worth the expense.

Service is 5 star no dought, good area and easy to acess anything from there.

Location, room was great and equipped with home appliances which was very convenient. Will certainly stay there again next time.

We were in a non smoking room, however smoke from other rooms went in through the air conditioning systems a few times. Had to keep it off.

Friendly staff, very good restaurant and perfect breakfast.

Too strong smell of men's perfume everywhere (except room), mind this in the case of allergic reaction.
