The decor in the room, kind of a character. there was a play area for kids, which was next to the rooms. i was wondering if the noise will be too much should there be a group of kids??!! And this area is along the walk way to the rooms, which puts me off a little.

The Castle is an exciting place to stay at as it is stepped in the history of the Qingdao city. The owner has redeveloped the old buildings so that they are both modern and exceedingly comfortable. The decor is delightful and includes snapshots from the 1950s as well as modern art. The staff are very pleasant and endeavor to provide the standard of service one expects from an excellent hotel. The management is providing training for staff members so that they continue to improve their service in some key areas. The restaurant provides delicious meals. We would be delighted to stay at the Castle Hotel again in the future.

Отзывчивый персонал, хороший ресторан в самом отеле Местоположение удовлетворительное, практически всегда нужно вызывать такси. Номер довольно обшарпанный, из ванной сильно пахло канализацией. Соотношение цена-качество абсолютно неоправданное.

- Location, centrally located in old town - Good alternative to business oriented hotel groups - Only local staff but service was smooth and friendly without being excellent either. - The hotel was nice but not worth the price we paid. - Breakfast was ok but very Chinese - Many noisy kids when we stayed there - Renovation noises in the morning (hammer noise)

Located in a beautiful green park in a central location. Rooms are spacious and very well designed. Three resturants nearby. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. Overall, very pleasant hotel, and we enjoyed our stay very much. No lift, though there are only 3 floors above ground level. Need a taxi to go to the old city or the new city.
