Redwall Hotel Beijing  

alles ok. preis leistung passt. wenn ich wieder nach peking komme werde ich wieder in diesem hotel wohnen.

Nur ein Vorschlag: das geldwechseln im hotel soll auch am abend möglich sein! ich bin am abend angekommen, hab am flughafen die wechselstuben übersehen und konnte im hotel kein geld wechseln.

Die zentrale Lage.

Die schmutzigen unhygienischen Teppichböden,

i will never stay here again, they charge from my credit card when i check in and when i check out. they even charge for using common items including shampoo, toothbrush and soap

Good location. It's very near from the Forbidden City. And there is a bus stop station near the hotel, so you can go to many places by bus.

I booked the room by booking com they tried to give me when I arrived other room with a bad smell the reason is the really room is not cleanand when we refused the other room they give us our room directly - NO CLEANLESS IN THE ROOM THEY CHANGE ONLY TOWELS AND ARRANGE BEDS ONLY TOWELS AND DRAPS ARE VERY OLD AND USERS THE BATH TUB AND BATHROOM IS VERY TINNY AND SMALL THE NUMBER OF ROOM IS 1410

Excellent food and restaurants, great location. Some staff were very helpful and others seemed like they did not want to work to solve problems. Housekeeping responded extremely well.

One bellboy would not assist us in calling a taxi. We had to go through many phone calls to obtain the main dispatch phone number. Business Office would not assist us in calling a taxi, but wanted to charge us 180 rmb to airport. Taxi cost us 70 rmb. This is not amusing to foreign guests from the usa. Receptionists referred us to business office and would not assist in calling a taxi.

The hotel is siituated near the Forbidden city amd is close to the main city spots

The poorness of e hotel, the lobby looks shabby, furniture in the rooms is old

A friedly staff speaking well english and every time available to help and assist you in everything. The hotel is located at 500m from the forbidden city's north gate. Well located to explore Bejing from north to south. No any problem for check in or check out. The room quality and room rate charged by the hotel were such as described by booking.com. No bad surprise in this hotel.

In china, it's difficult to find really good coffee for the breakfast. This every one knows but every one hopes to find good coffee. (I think they handle with coffee like with her tea. First coffee is frech at 7 o'clock, if you come later they put only new water in the coffee machine without changing the coffee). The orange juice was also very light more water than juice. Third negative point, the light in the room was very poor. Must be the energy saving spirit by using the old 25w lamps. And like usually in china the bed was very hard. This four points excepted I'm totaly charmed by the redwall hotel.

Absolutely fantastic position: it is no more than 10 min walking to WangFuJin. There is also a bus station just in front of the hotel and nearby there are a lot of of conveniece stores 24h open. For who is not too esigent and doens't want to spent too much but feel quite comfortable in order to visit the city, in my opinion this is the perfect solution.

The neighbourhood is great. We rented bycicles from the hotel and had a great time. The staff is excellent.

allowed early check-in at 7am, English was adequate

no wireless internet, washroom had mould on the tiles, shower stall was not seperate from the bathroom floor so water would get the rest of the bathroom floors wet, rooms smelled like smoke even though we asked for non-smoking

Location close to Forbidden City is perfect. Rooms are ok. Close to atm and rooms har ethernet cabel. Lobby wifi is free

The beds are close to wooden. Very hard. Everybody in the staff is selling somkind of Acrobatic show.
