The location is perfect, very frendly staff, the one day trip to the Great wall, booked in the hotel, was nice The lack of English speaking staff at the reception desk - sometimes is not easy to get information, but finally comes the "right person" and everything is ok. |

Absolutly nothing. We had booked for three nights and after arriving and seeing our room we told them we were moving out after one night. They had taken our money from our Visa when we booked and refused to refund the other two nights even though we strenuously argued that they had not provided a non smoking clean rroom with lights. The hotel was really dirty. They have no concept of a non smoking room, our non smoking room even had ashtrays provided. All the rooms were severly smoke damaged and smelt very bad. The hallways were also seriously dirty. Only two lights worked in our room and both of these were extremely dim. I could not see the clothes in my bag after dark. |

The location is brilliant, 5 minutes from The Forbidden City, 2 minutes from Jan Shing Park. The hotel is very cheap , the basic rooms are perfectly adequate and it is safe and clean. Most of the staff speak at least basic English and are helpful and friendly. I found tthebeds very hard but my son who was travelling with me thought they were fine |

I like the location of the hotel, very convenient to go to the forbidden city and also the Wangfujing area and easy to take the buses.Lots of cheap eating places and plenty of fruit stalls. A supermarket is just behind the hotel. Probably because of the low rates that I pay the room is extremely small |

A walking distance to Beijing's important sightseeings. Helpful and friendly staff. During my stay in August '09, there was so many tour agents' guests which may have affected the hotel's service level. Rooms are relativaly small comparing to other hotels' offerings with the same price. |

The hotel was in a great location. Everything we expected: beautiful, luxurious, good price,, good service. Everyone was helpful and anxious to give good service. Most spoke English. |

Very good location (close to Forbidden City and various restaurants). Internet was expensive, room cleanless very poor, staff didn't speak English very well. It's an ordinary cheap hotel I wouldn't recommend to anyone else than a couple of backpackers (after all it's slightly better than hostels in the hutongs). |

The hotel was close to tourist sites e.g forbidden palace, jinshan park, tia'namen square etc., The hotel was dirty, run down, bathrooms leaked which staff at front desk ignored. Spa was expensive and dirty. Waiting staff in both restaurants were very bad at their jobs. The food was ordered incorrectly, some meals were not ordered, wrong meals given. The restaurants were a disgrace, i have never experienced anything so bad and i have been all over the world. |

Well located and the Bell Hop (Mr Choo) was really helpful. The room was really tiny, dirty and very run down, especially the carpet. Those furnitures were so old and the room was really dim. We have to pay additional RMB100 each night to upgrade to a bigger room which was equally run down. |
