At the middle of two metro station. Both are need walk 10 minutes at lease. You can choice which one you want. You can have a sightseeing and anythings you need within 2-3 station metro.

Room price rate are middle in the market. But price are not included internet connection, it is not a good stay for any reason. Shanhai style friendship staff. For me 10 minutes to metro station is a little bit far away.

Location was a lovely walk to Nanjing Road and not too far. Staff were very good and were able to understand our English.

The staff didn't offered me a choice of currencies for payment and charged my country currency instead of RMB, the rate given is very low and unfavorable. For those who will stay in this hotel, pls inform the staff the currency you want to be charged before making payment...

It was a good price for a clean, and standard room at a good location.

No one bothered to help me with my luggage when I arrived, despite 5 staff chatting at the doorway. Most of the sockets in the room didn't work. No free internet.

It is a really good option for Shanghai: the location is quite central, on Yan'An road, close from the French concession (10 mn walk) and not far from the metro line 2 (15-20 mn from Jiangsu station). The room size and amenities are superior to the other hotel of that price range: relatively spacious room, large king bed, quality linen, decent marble bathroom with shower and bathtub, quality towels, working desk, water kettle, free nescafe bags, and lounge area by the window. If you are traveling alone, it has everything your need, and the cleanliness is really satisfactory. Useful tip: there is an atm right next to the hotel, that accepts all major foreign cards.

Being a budget option, the hotel has no charm. It looks a bit old and dusty, the typical medium-range 4 stars Chinese hotel. Definitely not the place you want to bring your girlfriend to impress!! One first small down-side for me was the breakfast: priced at more than 100 cy with taxes, it was quite disappointing: the croissant came rock-hard, as if re-heated 10 times. Coffee was good, I simply wish they filled the pot a bit more. You are far better off at the nearest coffee shop (Costa Cafe on Zhenning road, 5 mn walk). Another small down side was the staff: not the friendly type when checking-out, they rushed me into paying, while I still wanted to clarify some cost components on my bill. Same goes for the bell-boys: I wanted to book a taxi, they were not so helpful or proactive, so I was better off on the road myself hailing a cab.

A nice area, a bit far from the station but good neighborhood. They have constant renovation every few years.

The elevator's button is damaged on the first floor. One of the elevator fan has loud noise. The bathroom sink has unpleasant door that we have to place cover over it when leaving the room or keep the vent running to let it out.

    Clean confortable room

Be carefull! They give you the wifi code etc but if you actually use it 2 minutes... You get a nice surprise in the morning paying rmb 60 or usd 10! This hotel is a 'taxi' hotel. You feel no presence of subway and its on a big road... So you end up in a taxi all the time.
