The decoration is not to my taste. The wifi is slow. The shower is not working well. The bathroom is too small for a suite. The sofa in the living room is not facing the TV.
Rooms are large and clean.
Service both on a arrival as well as on departure was somewhere between amateurish and downright unfriendly. E-mail correspondence is not answered. Wifi router in room existed but was not connected to power (or network).
Hotel is not the same as some years ago. Worn out.
Kind and helpful staff Very Nice room.breckfast OK
Easy access. Comfort. Got an ATM machine.
BAIDU Network connection is very slow and access to Gmail is partially restricted. I would rather prefer a shower i.o a bathtub. TV is exclusively with Chinese channels. No CNN or BBC.
I have booked this hotel 5 times in the past 5 years. The quality of hotel has not been improved and in some cases reduced. Next time when I want to book a hotel I will think for trying other to book other hotels.
I like location.
Location is spot on, rooms very sizeable.
Staff are unfortunately not the best.
View on the skyline Location Bed
Internet hardly working. Taking minutes to load a page. Noisy smelly room Waiting 20 minutes for hot water every time. Frontdesk Messy lobby
staff totally expert, friendly, good English, very helpful in finding taxi (with meter), room service fast response and polite, wifi available at every corner of hotel. close to nanjing road (shopping center).
literally nothing. for business trip, this hotel is just perfect!
great location, good rooms
needs to be refurbished
Re-decoration is required as everything is looking a little tired. The rooms are dark and the bathroom definitely needs attention as I was unable to get hot water on a number of occasions. Logging onto the WiFi was also a problem and the engineer who came to the room to sort it out was both ignorant and rude.
the price is okay.
breakfast is very poor, the lobby is very very dirty.
Good location, walking to the Bund, Yuyuan Garden and the Shanghai museum. Comfortable and spacious room and bed.
Grumpy reception staff. They did their job but rarely smiled and spoke to us abruptly. The shower leaked in one of the rooms. The shower in both rooms was in a little space beside the jacuzzi tub. Didn't use the tub.
Large sized rooms - like a suite
not so clean no westerns style breakfast anymore (restaurant on top floor is closed)
The staff still seem to struggle with courtesy and certainly little friendliness
I liked that the room was very long with its own lounge and great views over Shanghai and TV tower
I was excited that I had a bath but when I went to soak in it the very small thing that needs to work didn't, the plug. So there was no way to fill it. The shower was ok but I was really looking forward to a disk after flying. Also the staff at the counter were rather flippant and unconcerned. Like anyone these days I wanted to check my emails after a full day if flying. I had to ask 4 times how the password worked and they rattled something off I didn't get. Even when I did sort it out it had full strength but didn't actually work.
The location is great, within walking distance to major poi, also lots of food around. Club mint (one of the posh kind) is a couple minutes away. Good value deal.
The check-in was well executed, but the staff was using the Chinese-way of service, just doing their job and no smiling, no looking at your customer, no "enjoy your stay".
Nice comfy beds Clean bath. Towels always replaced Water replenished daily Excellent location for tourists Efficient front desk
Poor wifi, both lobby and esp the rooms Concierge not knowledgeable/helpful Some of the rude are staff
This hotel has large rooms with the bedroom separated from a living area.
No in room wifi (cable only). Rather dusty from the old carpeting.
Location was good
staff at breakfast was very bad , no courtesy , hot tea not hot at all infact no one was there to see that guest what need or not . Breakfast not to that standard as one expected
very spacious room
walls very thin, we can hear all the noise from the other rooms, cant sleep at 3.00 am
Room was nice Bathroom was modern Location was perfect
Cockroach in the living area 31st floor bar was always empty and prices were insanely high (avoid it) Staff were not very helpful
Location is close to Nanjig road all shopping nice area and so many different restaurants , small marts are around where you can buy cold drinks , sandwitches at any time..Room is too big ,clean and wide...
There is no wifi in the room and it is not convenient at all to dress up and go down to the lobby at mid night with my lap top just cause the wifi is only at the lobby..
