Big and clean room, friendly and polite staff
The Spa is not good: bad massage and high prices; The wifi free don't work very well, is slow and with bad connection
We gave the staff a hard time by avoiding the use of English in order to improve our poor Mandarin. Even then, the staff did their best to achieve a result and I would have to rate their service level as excellent.
It took a while and needed staff to have the Wi-Fi working properly. I suspect it was due to an annoying internal web page advertisement taking control of browsing. Upon arrival, the telephone in the room was not working and being late, the front desk could not help. But we suggested to a room service man that he swap the phone with one in an unoccupied room. That worked.
The breakfast of the hotel is great! very fast wifi personell reactions very fast for all demands
not in good area
Friendly service. Free airport shuttle, 5 min walk from the BRT line (fast line to the railway stations and to the Waterfront). a few minutes walk at the back side of the hotel are some restaurants.
Location, clean facility
Wifi is good
Stay for 3 nights, Couldn't get quality sleep.
Very good hotel for the money. Friendly staff, who could speak English. To a degree. Bed was a little hard although the others in our party didn't experience this. Good location and as everywhere in China, taxis are very cheap but they are loonies. A hotel bus was laid on for us as we left for the airport at no cost which was a nice touch
WIFI although was there was quite slow. But fine for emails but not much else
good location close to all interesting areasno english tv channels l
no english tv channels, leaky pipes in bathroom
stuff is good but they can't speak english good. They like to be helpfull in any case.
wifi is bad.the bed is uncomfortable.
Hotel has a privileged location, a bus station is right at the exit, and you can easily reach many sight-seeing worthy locations by bus or visit nearby shopping malls. Staff is very helpful and polite, they helped us arrange our trip to the airport the next day as soon as we arrived; the room was comfortable, although there were stains on the carpet and the walls; as far as the noise is concerned, we appreciated the fact that we didn't hear anything from other rooms or hallway; WiFi signal is strong in the room and across the hotel; the breakfast was good and abundant, you can choose between several cuisines (western and asian)
Cleaness: stains on the carpet and walls
Service is really good...
The room need clean more carefully...
Very helpful friendly staff , especially the food manager.
Everything was very good. One small thing the carpets in my room could be shampooed as there were some stains on them.
The room facilities were convenient. Good taxi service provided. Breakfast was very good and had varied dishes from day to day. Staff was able to speak some English
I expected the hotel to have an ocean view. The executive lounge and reception were not open so we couldn't make use of it.
Room was small but clean, breakfast buffet was good.
Excellent Wifi connection & free of charge. Good location. Clean.
During our stay, there was hurricane (typhoon) in the southern sea. It was raining & we decided to dine at restaurant. However, all restaurant & cafe are closed even at around 8pm. The staff said because of low traffic at the restaurant or cafe, the chef left earlier.
we had a beautiful spacious suite. breakfast is not much for western people. fresh coffee with machine. helpful staff, 1 or 2 speak english. bus directly in front of hotel as the BRT to the high speed train station (Bei) or airport. many busses to city center and around
breakfast is basic. price of laundry too high, an other laundrette is just outside on the street. every night the bring the voucher for breakfast next day. annoying to get disturbed for 2 vouchers every night.
Breakfast was good.
Room was dated and could have been cleaner. Asked for a double room but were given a twin.
Service was good and cleaning was prompt.
Breakfast was not replenished even 30min before closing.
Usual difficulties with poor English at the Reception
Breakfast ok but be there latest 09:00 am They dont Substitute the Empty plates later!!!! Coffee machine difficult to handle but the Manager on Duty took care and always brougjt me a new one when ordernd : very nice guy
Staff very polite and specially Rebecca of hotel reception, was very professional.
Decent sized suite with good facilities at a very good price (I paid about 300 Yuan [£32ish] per night). Breakfast wasn't bad. 1 member of staff on checkout spoke good English & even went above & beyond to help me add credit to my Chinese mobile using the hotel credit card in exchange for cash. Unfortunately, I didn't get her name.
The staff for the most part speak no English and did not seem to want to attempt to make an effort to communicate. The booking said there was a free airport shuttle service available but this did not seem to be the case when I asked at the end of my stay, but as the taxi to the airport was so cheap I didn't bother trying to argue about it. I had a great rate on one of the suites booked through Booking.com but after my two nights there when I asked about extending my stay they wanted more than double the rate I had paid for the first two days. It is next to a building under construction which I imagine could be a problem outside of holiday periods but there didn't seem to be much going on when I was there and the windows were much better than most I came across during my stay in China.
The breakfast of the hotel is great! I really enjoy it.
Everything was fine in this good-standard hotel.
We were happy with the location because we wanted to see a range of sights - and could take a 3 minute bus or taxi ride to the old part of town if needed. People who just want to be near the ferry terminal and old part might find it a bit inconvenient.
